The Blizzard designers should've allowed players to rename their characters later into the game because.... that's how naming/nicknaming works in the real world.

inf3cted, there's no rush in playing the game. I suggest you think about what personality this tauren is going to have first; play your alts in the meantime. Whatever name you have to choose, you need to be comfortable playing with it.

I once renamed my tauren hunter from "Swifthorn" to "Thenoob". It was fun at first but it lost its novelty as I progressed, so I switched his name back to "Swifthorn" after only one month :p
