Maybe people on a whole, grew to enjoy the lure of a fun realm : because this scripting has always been lacking or just blatantly gone? > and not the other way around? people have had to give up on the 'lore' because it was missing

Are you seriously pissed that some people don't care about the lore? Blizzard acknowledges it, that's why they do not shove the lore down anybody's throats.

well, i'm not referring to the content of the story, just the story itself.

and that's very subjective, some people didn't like deathwing others love the pandas.

It's not about how much people liked those things. It's about how poorly those things were executed. Let's not forget about the massive chunks of IMPORTANT lore that Blizzard deliberately leaves out of the game and requires you to go read a book or comic if you want to learn about it.

The fact of the matter is, Blizzard does more harm to it than anything else.

They are not even fixing the most important bugs, you don't expect them to script the battle for Andorhal for example. If you want that, go retail.
