Why dont you just play the class that you actually enjoy playing insteed of playing a FOTM class?

It really depends if you re interested in pvp or pve. In PvP frost mages and rogues are considered the strongest classes - from what I' ve heard so far at least - while in pve all classes and specs are wanted/needed, although I do see an extra need for warlocks and holy paladins when trying to raid ICC etc.

Frost mages and rogues take effort to play properly (in pvp), so if thats your thing go for it but you can always roll warrior/dk, hit the keyboard with your face and destroy everyone cuz why not

In pve, most things are viable, just roll healer/tank for easier group finding. Just dont do prot warrior cuz no one seems to take those in raids

Be an ele shaman. You can:
turn into a ghost wolf
pikachu thunderbolt to knock people off the edge
cast lightning at fools
heal yo self and yo girls
1 shot n00bs w/ lava burst
summon totems to get extra buffz
imbue your weponz with mad buffz
