    I have no issues with MS really even with 7k players... Must be your internet or that you live far from the server... Sometimes it's the servers fault but most people know then :)

    Neither do i...my MS is usually around 50 (I'm from Europe). And back to my original post,I dont think that increasing the cap by just 500 would cause any lag issues.

    To be honest it would make a difference in my opinion..... It's up to the Staff when they wanna increase it :)

    They will attempt to increase it but first i think there are some stability fixes that are coming, other than that i don't have problem with delay currently while the server is at 7k players plus we are close to being the most populated private server with just one in front that has 8000 capacity

    Idk what kind of god internet you people have but I clearly have 100-200 more ms during peak hours when server is capped. My ms says 100 but its actually 200-300.

    I have 24-30 max doesn't matter if peak hours or not.

    When multiboxing you can start to notice a delay when the server population nears the player cap, the latency stays unchanged at 27 ms but it's the server CPU which is getting stressed i think.

    Increasing the cap to 7.5k or higher would probably get problematic.

    They should really upgrade lordareon with "Streaming Bandwidth". i.e change the datacenter room of the server to go under better networking and peering. It just costs like ****.

    My friend hosts a large gameserver @ OVH and when he upgraded to streaming bandwidth type of 1Gbps, the latency from USA to EU RBX went down by 30-50ms average depending on player. One guy from malaysia got from 300ms to 180ms lol. Then again it was UDP based game (streaming is mostly UDP), so i'm not sure how it would affect to TCP based games like WoW.

    And you'd believe these guys would read the forums? hahah.. it's probly easier to become a GM than reach the tech guys.

    Besides, when hosting at OVH, if they weren't aware of the networking upgrades, they probly shouldn't even get paid.. Therefore we either have this already or it's un-needed or incompatible.

  15. Hmm would be great feature for those already logged in,ESPECIALLY when raiding.Would also prevent QQ for non donators,since those whould would be logged in ,if got dc woudnt be a problem.
    donors can not skip queue on lordaeron anyway... but this system you guys talk about seems great, they had that in retail aswell if I am right ^^

    About lag and other things: I have a latency of 35 usually when the population hits 7k, and yes sometimes, really only sometimes there is a small lagg spike. You would not notice it unless you are casting attacks. best thing: usually only 1, then it is over already.
