this event would be ok if you forbid paladins to join. pvp is heavily unbalanced at the moment, so those who rolled an easy class like ret, prot warr or hunter, have the highest chances of winning this. would be cool on level 70 (i think) and definitely on level 80.

I actually agree on that one. I also agree with mister smartass up there somewhere along the lines too. seeing as how PvP is just comical right now it'd be unfair for 90% of classes and enha shamans/paladins/hunters would dominate heavily. I might just wait for people to hit 70 and start hosting the event after, maybe get it on Alliance side as well.
Might do a single one just to try out how many people will want to join and put down their money for some violent fistpumping.

This is a re+arded idea. With the horrendous class balance right now and the fact that boomchickens and ele shamans can just throw people off of cliffs, this is just plain stupid. I'm assuming this idea was made by a Paladin that thinks that their 3.5k exorcism makes them skilled. Stick to fighting in the Underbelly once this WOTLK server is actually on the wotlk expansion, and everyone has a half-decent chance of winning, and then you might have something with a tournament idea. Until then get this crap out of here.

Okey PvP isn't balance at all and no one is focus on it atm. But this is a game and means to be fun right ?
So just show some respect for this guy making things move on the server and trying to entertain us.
I'll be glad to give you 25g for some fun, knowing that PWar gonna 1 shot me, but atleast I'll still try to get some funny bumps x)

The ideea is really really really good.
Just, not now.... I think it'd be best to do this at 80. You can try and hold it as a prototype, but in most scenarios, hunters and paladins will win....

I 1v1 with my Feral Druid quite a bit, I have won vs fully geared Prot warriors, Paladins and other spec/classes you think are OP. It was hard to win vs Prots and Paladins, versus bad ones I usually won but even versus skilled ones duels were very close. I am sure there are many better players who play <insert class and spec> and can win those so called OP specs.
BTW Hunters are piece of cake for Ferals.

sooo, paladins can't use their only relevant defensive spell (which cancels out their only relevant dmg boosting spell) and wars can use their great defensive skills, hunter can have double detter, DKs will eventually be able to use their insane defs etc....i call bull**** man...
imho complaining about balance in world environment with engineering and so on allowed is ridiculous...
and now to the idea itself...its AWESOME, I really hope it will stick and eventually there will be enough players that will compete regularly.
