I wouldnt mind if people would be able to buy changes to race, gender or looks.

Not just your name, but it is possible to get a new National identification number (e.g. SSN, SIN, NINO, INSEE code, etc) as well in the right circumstances.

You've been told from the very beginning how things are going to be here,so there's only one response for you,a blunt NO,the same answer the community received in August,when 80% voted in favor of RDF,but the staff did it their way.
This is an awesome realm,so we shouldn't ever have transmog, custom NPCs that provide services for spoiled kids,who would like to implement on this realm their crazy ideas or the features they miss from other expansions that have nothing do with WotLK content.
Lordaeron is a premium realm,it's the best 3.3.5 available right now, which means that it's not a PTR realm where you try crazy stuff,if you really want to test the feedback and so on,then go and ask for such features on Deathwing and Ragnaros,where the game experience is already twisted and altered, those players don't care about the authentic experience of this game,but us,this small community that risen from ashes and became again the most attractive realm,we care,and that's why we are here,because we care about the game experience,we want it to be as much authentic as possible.
It's about time a staff member will announce that such custom features will never be seen on Lordaeron and about the paid services that were available on retail,like faction change and so on,they should keep their word and respect the community,if they promised us that some stuff will not be available,then respect it and prove us all that you care about your image as a brand and that you respect the community .

I think it would be very beneficial to allow for a 1 time Re-Customization of your character at lets say level 60. This will allow for the players that feel they have made a mistake in the looks of their character to change the flaws and it would be right before you need to start worrying about ninjas. Just make a prompt menu appear once you reach this level for a yes or no option and if they say 'no' then that's it but if they say 'yes' toggle the character re-customization.

i created a suggestion last month regarding this and after some ret.ard commented with something like: "so just because you made a mistake they should enable it? no.", it died or got closed, i don't even remember anymore. the staff here is great at ignoring community. i was naive to think that the "molt-down" would change anything, but it's pretty much the same story. i probably wouldn't let people change their names more than once or twice per account, but character recustomization is really a must have, since it takes so long to level up a character and you want to make your main the way you're willing to play it. the cast and auto attack animations play a gigantic role in this... anyway, we should spam the suggestion section with these kind of topics and hope at least one of the admins will notice before some douchy mods delete them without even telling a reason, like it happened in several of my suggestions
