1. Enchanting has similar problem, forumla respawn times are 2 hours + or smthing,im trying to buy Runed Adamantite Rod formula since the release of tbc with no sucess, while some ppl that spam farm it are profiting on the ah selling it for 1k gold.Semms like mayor and easy problem to fix,ppl wont be able to progress enchatning even after the wotlk release if they cant buy the rod formula, while some ppl are exploiting it and making gold.
That's a whole different issue. Unless the store inventory refill is longer than it should be - and I recall people saying it isn't - the problem here is just that people are getting them before you to sell it overpriced. That's not a bug nor "exploiting," it's at most people being greedy *******s.

  2. It's not even a good way to get gold. People who do that are stupid.

I camped for more than 2 hours and it didnt respawn, and its confirmed on the bugtracker, the similarity is that we cant level our proffessions, and we wont be able to progress with them when wotlk gets released.

  4. Respawn timer is 4 hours, which is quicker than what it was on retail.

It might be confirmed for being too low, going by what Kemii just said. And whether you will be able to level your profession or not is beyond Staff responsibility. The items are appearing in the stores, which is made evident by the fact you complain people are getting them and selling for gold. Unless they are abusing some bug, you just have to be faster or pay their price.

Personally, if I got the timing down, I'd be all for having an alt logged in front of the store, to go there buy all the recipes each time and not sell, but destroy them, to make sure I was the only one able to provide certain things for other crafters for as long as I managed. There are no laws or rules against monopoly in World of Warcraft.

ok so why u make mobs appear much more frequently when new content is out ? ppl are just asses coz they want lvl so fast by that logic and its beyond staff responsibility :D
why not tweek the mines abit too ? new content is out so temporary allow more frequent nodes respawn.
well i couldnt care less anyway, im already tired to look for nodes and to actually play but u should think about it, just go with "allow it all" or "not allow anything" so smartasses like me wont come and say stupid comments like mine.

Its reported and comfirmed for being way too long, but i have no idea how long it should be or how it was on retail,i just know that i never before had problem getting it.There is at most 2 of the recipes on ah for more than 1k gold, while at most times there is none. Before every server restart you can see like 10 ppl camping it so it looks kinda supid. If its same as on reatail and warmane wants to stick with it,then i cant rly say any more,i wanted to give the issue atleast some publicity. If you do simple math though if there is like 500 enchanters on the server and respawn timer is 4 hours, the last guy to get it will need to w8 83 days which seems kinda ridicilous, and there is and will be probably more enchanters on this server.

  8. it's still doable to farm nodes , pretend this is more hardcore than bugged :D i got over it

  9. You could always if you are a rogue or druid you could farm dungeon nodes instead :P

You're putting apples and oranges together because of the common word "spawn." As I said, the issue is with shared respawn pools, so it isn't the same as with creatures. Increasing the frequency would affect everything in that shared pool, so things that are with correct scarcity now would become way too common if we tweaked it because of the mining nodes, which is exactly why it's being left for after the 10th release. It's more than just changing a number, likely pools will have to be split or items relocated, which has to be done with attention to not screw something else in the process of fixing this.

I know that this will sound unfair to you, individually, but in the scope of a server with thousands of players that's just fine. There's high competition, so you have three choices: be faster than the others, buy from someone who was faster than you, or wait until most people are past that choke point so you can get it without hassle.

now thats a good comment, thank u for clarifying :D i just hope it wont happen with titanium in wotlk, coz it was rare as it is in the past so i hope titanium wont cost 1k for 1 ore :P

  12. There are some players that will deny a problem, even when it's confirmed by the devs. Denying an issue doesn't make you a hardcore player. If there's a problem, then everyone should admit it, unlike the authors of the previous comments.
The only way to PROGRESS( As this word became attached to Lordaeron) is to say it loud when there is a problem, just the same way we're told every time we log in that we are playing " on the most hardcore..." .
Also, players should stop suggesting such solutions as farming inside a dungeon or removing the profession, because this isn't the way it should work, and by the way, even inside the instance, the re-spawn time is the same.
It seems that some simply people don't get it, the problem isn't the population(which by the way,has recently decreased, maybe because of these issues too) that farms the minerals too fast,it's the time between the spawn moments. It has nothing to do with the population, fact. I've spent countless hours at different times on Lordaeron,in Outland, and I barely saw any players, however, there weren't any mineral nodes either.

So dear players, stop denying a problem just for the sake of supporting the staff's lack of reponse or because you want to pretend that you can get through this situation because you "act hardcore" and farm inside a dungeon.
It's disappointing to see that there's such a lack of communication between the staff and the community, I really hope that this situation will change before the Wrath of the Lich King content launch.

Don't let such issues(Lack of communication & information, spawn times,Sunwell plateu) damage your reputation, because until now this realm was developed properly.

You do realize you can reset the dungeon therefor resetting the mining nodes? Could be one of the reasons that people get so much supplies where people are still struggling mining nodes in outdoor zones :)

Being able to do this doesn't mean that the issue is gone,or that this is the new way to farm your materials, accept it,we have a problem. Don't forget that you can run just 5 dungeons per hour, which means that you will eventually have to farm outside. Ignoring an issue doesn't make it go away, this is just a lame solution that only slackers and cowards will choose, when you have a problem, you must face it and fix it,if you cover your eyes it doesn't mean it's gone.
