1. Ok, let me know if you find anything out. I'm currently re-downloading with bit-torrent and will try whatever you may request.

  2. For those of you with this issue, I found the problem. Here's my response I wrote on another thread:

Alrighty. I found the issue. For some reason, the executable was labeled as a text file. So I'm going to need your friend to open his terminal and type in the following command: chmod +x, then before pressing enter, right click World of Warcraft > show package contents > contents > MacOS and drag that World of Warcraft into your terminal next to the command. Then hit enter. This should convert the text file into an executable file and let you run your game.

  3. So I did this and this is what I got...chmod +x/Users/Downloads/Wrath\ of\ the\ Lich\ King\ 3.3.5a\ \(Mac\)/World\ of\ Warcraft.app/Contents/MacOS/World\ of\ Warcraft
    usage: chmod [-fhv] [-R [-H | -L | -P]] [-a | +a | =a [i][# [ n]]] mode|entry file ...
    chmod [-fhv] [-R [-H | -L | -P]] [-E | -C | -N | -i | -I] file ...

I have tried to open the the .app file and it just says that i can't be opened.

I think... You need a space between +x and the path of that file.
