why do u want to come to a realm that considered hardcore , no instant 80, limited purchase options, 1x rep, RDF disabled if u dont have time ?just go to ragnaros or something. the past lordaeron (that i played too) was other realm, with other "head", and it got deleted in an event refered to as "moltdown" - means its completely other realm with the same name (maybe coz of the 1x rates - idk)
I just wanted to chime in here for a minute and say no to instant 80, but....I'd be all on board for a instant 70 at this is WoTLk and the WoTLK content is the one that should matter the most, so you'd still be stuck with having to level 10 levels through Northrend and I'd great appreciate it if they gave players a small amount of gold so they could grab their mounts, buy some greens off the AH, and have some loose change in their pockets in case of repair bills, or if they wanna get a jump on professions before rushing into NR.
See? Isn't this a better idea then an instant 80? :D I feel this idea gives players something to still work for before rushing into endgame content and at least keeps the NR leveling zones full.
This wouldn't sound as bad if you didn't include the part about gold. If this service becomes available once you have one level 80 character, getting gold to start a new one should be something you do yourself. Sure, everyone wants more perks and bonuses, but come on... Skipping first 70 levels of leveling process is already huge.
Still, I don't want to see a level boosting feature implemented on Lordareon. Maybe once we are on the final patch.
As I remember now, you had to have a 80 level to buy instant 80 for coins, but in the very beginning of old Lordaeron people were able to transfer their 80s from Frostwolf which was 3x wotlk at that time. Just before turning it to cata (later to MoP). So I guess that's the story behind me leveling up for coins on old Lord x1. And I'm sorry if I was too mean at some point Obnoxious. Really nothing personal.
Thanks 2 everyone for their opinions on this relevant topic.
