Exactly Saghha.
And for the previous user, this has nothing to do with a post moaning about horde losing 90% of the times. It's about the enjoyment in pvp and BG's. It's quite simple, whether we lose or win, majority of people would rather prefer fighting in WG than AV for instance. If they win or lose that's another story. And btw, WG requires strategy as well, specially if you're in the Horde, but I guess you must be an ally so you can't really feel my point of view.
Everything you guys said is cool and all, but this is pvp related, it is of no interest here at Warmane. Even one of the mods from here mentioned how pvp is a small part of wow compared to pve, like a profession. Lich King's dialogue has a much higher priority than literally giant parts of pvp such as the missing arenas for example.
PvP a small part of wow? Allow me to disagree with that man.
Anyway, I don't think it's much asking for a sinmple BG filter though, I don't care how cool and important is pve here, it has nothing to do with giving a decent experience to all the players in here. Not everyone loves pve all the time.
Making custom scripting in a game from scratch, or even implent new things isn't as easy as it sounds. Remember there's so much things on forums people QQ about saying it's "easy" to fix, well if it haven't been fixed for such long time, it may not be so easy.
They are making custom change to PvE to make it "more enjoyable" like buffing boses and removing RDF. Why not show some love to PvP too? Not necessarily the blacklisting thing but reducing the chance of getting Av, or adding a cooldown to that BG, etc.
I never said it was something easy to do, I'm aware of the work it takes to do any small changes in such a large server. Plus I have no damn clue about programming, scripting or whatever related with deep IT knowledge. But to my eyes, adding some kind of filter, cooldown, or let's just call it a "solution" to this issue for us pvp players, can't be THAT hard. I mean, it would not be the hardest thing ever done in this server.
And is something that would greatly improve the pvp experience on Bg's to be honest, lots of pvp players are looking forward to this, and it's not fair they're forgotten while pve gets the whole attention (dont care if pve has more players in this server)
BG's in general right now are lackluster in themselves. 70% AV ratio is unacceptable and easily fixable. Believe it or not, many people play this game for competition, not for scripted PvE content. There's nothing wrong with either, people have different play styles.
You will also notice that after 9PM EST, BG que times are 1hour+, i'm assuming because of the lack of NA players. This is something i don't think will be easily fixed, but Lordaeron is in a weird place right now. I enjoy the server, and the PvP quite a bit, and hope to see some dev improvements or comments in the near future.
I'm also happy with the horde's progress in BG's. I play alliance and on my first 80, i was honor geared in a week due to steamrolling EVERY BG. now, the horde win at least 50% of the time, which makes things more exciting and even.
The only suggestion i really have is to set some sort of easy algorithm for AV to not proc when under 20 per team is qued. I find that even when AV procs so much, it usually ends in under 5 mins due to it being a 10v10ish scenario and coming within ~5 kills to decide the winner.
