1. Happened the same with the raid group i joined, we were smashing down 1st boss, as soon we killed it , i noticed i got double valor , it was like
    Awarded with 40 Valor.
    Awarded with 40 Valor.

And we proceed to 3rd boss. I even said wtf just happen, entire raid did not say a thing and just continued, like they knew something was done to prevent tsulong to even spawn.

  2. If this 2nd healer killed a boss alone, then this must be some exploit, i don't believe there's damage hacks. However, bans are not helping, i have been reporting many, many hackers. They got their bans. But that was before, this was the time that hackers were afraid to use hacks. Now nobody is really afraid of using hacks, and who fault is that? - Ban 7 days?

I was going to report a hacker 1 week ago, i whispered him, saying, say bye, i'll report you. He replied to me this: "Haha i'm already reported, 7 days break, i'll just log on in other acc and still play lol"
Damage exploits/hacks exist. Someone posted SSs here with million dmg arcane shots.

If you believe what a cheater says when you are about to report him, you are pretty weak.
It's 30 days the first ban for cheating (still too low IMO).

  3. If you see yourself floating/swijmming in the air after a lag spike, that just means your character never moved after the lag started so anyone seeing you will not see you swimming around in the air. it's client sided.

GMs are aware of the flying bug after leaving an instance/BG. that makes their task harder to judge flyhackers outside of instances. provide better ss with casting bars for exemple.

@OP, just get your combat log out, it will show the abnormal damage done to the boss by the cheater. SS it to GM. Done.
    This began once 5.4.8 hit

The flying effect is trigger by coming back as a ghost.

Flying is triggered when someone ia mounted to fly to corpse as a ghost and after ress said player is given temporary flight.

If a mount does not spawn while being a ghost, speed is granted instead from 150%-300% (depends on zone and location; 100% always in bg).

Both flying and speed can be aquire at the same time giving target player speed and flight until this occurs

*Log out, Change zones, death (only refreshes), or snared/sleep/stun (Doesn't always drop the effect)

Another finding is that it 100% of the time gives the ability to walk on water, always which explains the gittery walking on water in bgs. Hence 100% movement speed always after 1 res if the player is a ghost.

    there are damage hacks
Lol, no. Saying Damage Hacks is so childish to say. Think of it this way. There are some interesting expolits on MOP. The hunter modded his or her dmg with said expolit vs. Another guy, warrior instantly killing a player by merely clicking on victim.
There are some who can hide their combat log so thag their victim cannot see what was done, something I was bored and decided to give a go on for testing purposes.

The things you can do by moving back and forth throughout expansions.

  4. The screenshots of the alleged "damage hacks" may have come from a player stacking certain buff/debuffs such as "Overcome by Anger" along side a certain debuff some wasp monsters in Pandaria give that can stack the amount of damage you can deal several times over. Having tested this with JUST the insect debuff I was able to do Power Shot in a duel for more than 6 million damage.

The debuff from the insects only last for a few seconds, however. The screenshots were taken from a player camping the Triceratops mount rarespawn. This leads me to believe the accused actually was using hacks, but not to increase their damage. They probably had teleport hack waypoints set at each spawn location for the rare spawn and refreshed the damage buffs from the insect monster between teleports-- using the increased damage to one-shot players who were also camping said rare spawn within the allotted time limit.

That being said, damage hacks are a myth. It cannot (realistically) be done. What people are referring to when they think someone is hacking their damage is really more of an exploit of something that exists in-game.

People call anything they don't understand a hack.
But there is more to it. The warrior I mentioned just needed to target you and the GUID of your health instantly goes away.

Damage does not log at all. You get this message

    You Died, and that's it.
There's also a reverse effect and something way beyond damage expolit which Warmane ironically fixed by accident and unaware of it's existence a literal god mode expolit.
If Warmane did not do what they did and these damage exploiters got to this point, mop would be broken.

With that being said Pandaria is the only area that needs be checked out if they want to get rid of said exploit.

  6. 2 hackers in same bg on both faction fighting who will cap 1st...this is just insane.......

  7. Lol, no. Saying Damage Hacks is so childish to say
is this a pic of your little brother as your avatar?

you are right in saying they are exploits. dmg hack is just a bad wording but something everyone understand. dmg is calculated server side.
i wouldnt try my luck if i were you with testing and stuff. unless you want to end up banned.
i know it can be interesting to hack but unless you use it to help them fix the bugs you find, dont do it.

btw making exploits public will get you a forum ban.

  8. They Dont happen to have a ETA of when "FROSTWOLF INSTABILITY" is going to be a lil more stable DO they? ... lol

  9. of course they do. they are professionals and they respect their users.

  10. 2 hackers in same bg on both faction fighting who will cap 1st...this is just insane.......
    Alright,enough of this bull****.
What hackers? Downloading a 3rd party software, and then using it does not make you a hacker,it does make you a cheater tho.
It's same as with racism,i get the impression people don't even know the proper use or meaning of either of the two words.
Someone writing a piece of his own code and proceeding to execute it to gain an advantage in said environment would be hacking.
Googling for speedhacks e.t.c. till finding one and then just using it as you would use your average video player for viewing movies is not hacking, nor is finding a stacking buff/debuff to gain an advantage, that's exploiting.

  11. In any case.. i wish the penalty be more "Punishing" .. i mean c'mon.. 7 days ban...thats a warning ban.. how about using a One month ban as warning.. I just wish some hard-core JUSTICE be brought into MOP..

Which makes me think sometimes, aren't all class/spells, in a way, those that aren't really fixed yet, bugged in other words, exploiting? From dealing insane amount of broken damage, not from enemy buffs/debuffs but from players, pretty much opens doors to some random broken stuff in 5.4.8.

Someone who knows! The sad thing is when one guy says "oh a hacker, ffs" the majority will follow, and say this guy is hacking instead of this guy is cheating.

I know 90 bgs consist of said cheaters, but lower level brackets, very rarely do we see cheaters. The last cheater we saw was like a good 6 months ago when low lvl bg was booming, it is coming back slowly, but i doubt we will find any more of them running around our part of the woods.

  13. Ha! I always make the same remark but there will always be people to call them hackers. Probably coming from the programs they use called 'speedhack' or 'flyhack'.
Truth is there is 1 hacker for 100 000 cheaters.
Calling people by what they are is pretty usefull... Hacker actually sounds pretty cool.
So please call them parasites cheaters ruining the fun for everyone.

  14. Does it really matter what you call them? I've always said that "hacking" using third party tools they searched Google for was about the same as saying nuking a hot pocket in the microwave was "cooking."

"Hacker" has become a very broad term. It's a lot easier to say "lel I'm using hacks" than "lel I'm using an illegal third party tool." I wouldn't wait for someone to be able to tap into Pentagon computers or take control over their city's traffic lights before using the word.

  15. But yeah we cant be too sure, that ghost bug alters speed and causes fly as the other guy stated before. I notice this today during a MSV run, ofc MSV is bugged, when we tried to go back in, half my raid was flying in mid air, unaware of what just happened to them.
You do get faster and have fly mount as ghost and after res you retain said buff until you leave Pandaria completely or get snared or something.
