Didn't know they broke it also. Example of the spam bug is/was, usually u do gnaw+explosion, like youre spamming the abilities. If u do it this way it will bug everytime. Instead gnaw, w8 for gcd to finish and then use it. This shouldn't even be possible to do actually because corpse explosion should have a gcd also.
Gnaw doesn't share a gcd, it's a pet skill, so we shouldn't have to worry about using corpse explosion right after the stun. Corpse explosion damage is messed up though, i really haven't used it much, but i remember it doing around 7k non crit.
Would be nice to see this fixed, maybe it'll change the way arena goes for UH, with some more burst dmg.
Not spamming corpse explosion and it still bugs. It's just a bug with the spell itself, there should be no mandatory wait time between using CE and Gnaw. Go test on the former AT realm (Blackrock) and you'll see that it in fact works correctly there.
Also the extra Chains of Ice range is good versus any caster, and even versus melees in arenas (an example would be having to kite MS off before using Death Pact). Also don't overrate autoattack so much. While a test on a mob/dummy would give an accurate auto-attack % of the overall damage done, this would be only accurate when speaking about PvE. In a PvP scenario, you often get rooted, slowed, stunned, etc. and the majority of your damage are your diseases and Death Coils.

those shard stacks was bugged in a good for dk way like stacking from disease dmg or death and decay dmg for 4 years. if u get used to it, its ur problem

On old core CE had to be used after pet GCD expired for it to work. Still worth taking, you dont have to use CE during Gnaw only (chains of ice, grip into it, position pet and so on, it's not hard to land especially with Icy Talons spec).
Icy talons makes CE and gargoyle's casting speed faster, pick it depending on how much you rely on those.
Icy reach isn't really important (it's good for running disc priests out of mana, no other purpose in arena). It could work vs non-dispeller teams but majority of teams have disc or paladin as healer (especially on molten). Any healer can keep instantly dispelling your ranged chains and you'll end up just wasting frost runes. Inb4 someone says healers are slow to dispel them.
Toughness, I specced it with shadow priest, it offers small damage reduction. Snare reductions almost useless unless you're playing also as Troll (almost all snares in wotlk are semi passive, only warrior's have to actually apply snare).
About unholy talents, you can drop 1 or 2 talents from Dirge for other talents (especially Chill of The Grave). Reaping and Wandering Plague are pretty much optional.
Reaping is more for situtational burst and control, death striking / kiting.
Wandering plague is just small passive damage boost, nothing else. It's not going to make healer drop dead (Reaping can!).
