ROFL, rogue need 800 resilence !!! or if you playing double dps comp than go for 900, not ANYMORE all your sockets need to be +40 attack power and +20 hit nothing else !!! you just need 35% - 37% arp !! !! remeber you DIE with 1000 resilence same like 800 because YOU ARE ROGUE you waste your cds - you are dead, you kill or be killed remember it , your "KILL TACT" is to cc one till you get your DR ready for 6 sec kidney or get your DANCE ready and its gg. So going 1k resilence is just lack of your dmg which is bad
sub rogue lives till he has cooldowns and uses them correctly, because its not tunneling spec like mutilate
if sub rogue has not cooldowns, 1000 resilence or 600 does not matter
40-50% arp is nothing for sub rogue
play with 70% at least or go mutilate, because with less than 70% arp (not linear stat btw) u are able to rape only clothers/leahers and whelchair plates do not now their class
Thank you, thank you & thank you again for "setting me straight". A bunch of people told me this same information in game, but did not explain it as eloquently as you folks did. I admit, I still have a lot of learning to do with rogue gameplay mechanics - sometimes I tend to panic and go like spaz mode, especially once the fight starts looking bad. Are any of you familiar with this phenomenon? Apparently "it's a thing".
Again THANKS!!!
#DERAILMENT ALERT
I am sorry to derail this thread somewhat...but now my question is... AP vs ArP? I have gathered that, from many folks' personal tests that ArP is better overall, however it is best to do "both" at 60-70% ArP and +350-500 AP...what do you guys think? Best of both worlds? I ended up gemming +68 AP x 3, which gave me a nice constant boost of +204 AP. I think it was a good move, no?
Here are my current stats (with new ArP Wrath neck [thanks Icyheart {also cool profile avatar picture, what anime is that from?}]:
77.60% ArP, 52.42% crit (5/5 malice), and 5536 AP...I don't think the numbers can get much better than this...can they? Do you think I will see an improvement if I gem 5x 40 AP, which would result in 70.52% ArP with 5736 AP....?
