After spending one year doing SoO, I decided i wouldn't spend another in HC. When I look at my friendlist they are always in 2 places: either Hellfire Citadel or Garrison.

A lot of WoTLk retail was spent in Dalaran, but with daily dungeons and VoA there at least were enough reasons to get out of dalaran, not to mention that being dalaran you weren't ever alone and leveling took more then a few hours. Leveling a fresh toon in WoTLK took about 2 to 3 weeks of good game play.
Kind of makes one wonder why Blizzard broke their formula? They had a good structure and gave players plenty to do, its that wow is no longer a time sink that's really hurting it.
