He's right though, even him can do that early season, but reaching top10 and maintaining the rank till the season's end is devilishly hard, especially in the last 2 months. Let's see what happens to his smug little smile when he faces relatively good teams and proceeds to get farmed to oblivion, I'd love to do it myself if I ever get the chance.

There was a time when you didn't dare go for rank 1 because you were probably going to get banned.
I remember my only season when I went for a title (last season before moltdown), and all 3 of us were scared of being banned.
We didn't get rank 1 (got r3) since our shaman didn't play for the last 1-2 months (yes the ladder was dead since we stayed r3 despite not playing a single game in the last 1-2 months).
My officers in guild were banned the season before for "wintrading" too (they had r1 on all the realms, so must be win trading #logic).
Warmane is so much better :3

lol i forgot all about those days. sadly that was also the last period where i had good friends that were also good at pvp. havent competed since those times :(
