Hello i have a question i have on my char 3.7gs but cant go in heroics dungeos anyyone have a

As it was pointed out by Mercy, you need certain ilvl gear across all gear slots. GS doesn't matter because it's a gear-measuring system created by players. Ilvl is what you need to look at.

People are CONFUSED because of this reason:

You are not counting your item level correctly.

That's it. The entire reason why people are confused is because you think you have the correct item level, but you don't. This is how the myths about "randomly needing 183 or 197 or 201+ etc" started.

Most addons and macros that count average item level just look at your filled slots. If some slots are empty, they are ignored by the addon/macro. That's wrong!

Warmane does not ignore any slots. If a slot (most often the libram/relic/idol/sigil slot) is empty, it counts as value ZERO on the server. But your "average item level" macros and addons usually skip that slot. THIS is the reason why you think you have enough item level, but you don't.

There is no per-slot minimum item level. As long as your AVERAGE item level ("all equipped slots divided by 17") is enough, it won't care if one slot is empty or has some item level 1 item.

So, with this in mind, here is how it works:

• The server takes the item level of every slot (quality/gearscore is ignored). And then divides it by 17. That's how many usable slots a character has (it skips shirt and tabard).
• Random Heroic requires an average item level of EXACTLY 180+.
• (Heroic AND Normal) Trial of the Champion + Forge of Souls + Pit of Saron all require an average item level of EXACTLY 200+. Heroic too. But you cannot do Pit of Saron until you have done the quest in Forge of Souls.
• Halls of Reflection: Not sure? It's higher. Probably 210+ or 220+.

This should get you all started on your journeys.

The easiest way to fill the libram/relic slot is to do a few quests at the southwest island in Grizzly Hills, to get "Venture Coins". A few minutes of questing and you will have 30 coins to get a relic from the faction vendor near the lighthouse.

You can also look for cheap ilvl 245/264 epics on the auction house. There's many that go for under 500 gold each because they are super common drops in ICC, usually for slots such as rings, wrist, neck and waist. A couple of those items will really boost your average item level.
