Are people actually buying well geared characters on trade?

Meaning that, if you were in the market for a new toon, you would pay the coins to buy something like mine rather than build one from the coin shop?

I personally spent 180 coins on an 80 on Lordearon recently that only had 1 piece of gear, but 2k+ cheives and the professions I wanted as well as some good mounts. Well worth it to me. I could have had a similarly geared toon with 3k cheives and 4.4k gear score for 1/2 that cost but not the "right way" if you know what I mean. I would prefer spending the coins to be legit and have the toon on MY ACCOUNT rather than have the chance of the account getting recalled.

As long as I don't have to grind these achievements myself and everytime I log in I can just go ahead and joke around wherever I like yes totally worth it .

As for the prices you know people that work a non-mcdonalds job can afford anything in this shop , time spent getting angry over loot rules and garbage unskilled players > money .

I highly doubt that many ppl out there are willing to spend 400-500 euro for a single donation.
Ppl who spend such a high amount of money for Warmane usually do that with plenty of small transaction spread over several months or years.

Actually one of those examples bought two BiS toons in the space of 24 hours. Just because your wallet can't stand it don't generalize it.

My wallet can actually spare that money but I would still never ever pay 500 euro for a virtual character on a private server simply because in my opinion its not worth the money.

Ofc there are ppl out there that think different and are willing to pay that much. Its no surprise that a server with over 100k players has also view individuals that are willing to pay such a high amount.
Nevertheless the blatant majority wont pay 400-500 euro and most of the sellers of BiS chars wont be able to sell their char even for the minimum amount of coins.

I see nothing wrong with that , BiS characters are not for everyone anyways .

I feel like putting so much of a high price on characters is the #1 turnoff for buying characters. I'd bite if it was 50 bucks or less maybe, but definitely not 500 euros.

u know why people spent 500-600 to private server? the only reason is they CAN! so our argument basically is useless.. why dont we just thank them for that? cos this server is alive and we all can play here in peace cos of those rich people that r willing to spend some cash for this server...

You comparing the chances for whatever big company to close with a private srv, rly? and the galactical quality difference that totally makes it worth the money even if it closes ? /facepalm

Big corporations may not close their online games, but players often move to another game within the first 3-5 years, which ends up being pretty much the same.
