Marketplace changes, good or bad?

There aren't low level items exactly because they aren't used to "boost" new alternate characters for people who have saved points, which is the point. Cosmetic stuff, such as mounts and items solely used for transmogrification, aren't necessary for anyone's playing, so their removal doesn't hinders any game play. The new system promotes that you go out and play the game, instead of relying on "fun server" features. It's much more in line with what we want for the servers to increase the items available on Cataclysm and Mists, but not to re-introduce lower items for any expansion, so that's what I'd be more confident about seeing happen.

It would be valid to complain about unavailable items in content that isn't implemented yet, but that's not your case at all.

I wouldn't count on it, since their removal wasn't a mistake and the reasoning for it has already been explained. With older content being gradually released on the expansions, even the complain about it being impossible to get those items in game is being done away with, and that was the only one that was legitimate.

I understand your point of view, but these items, their drop chance is 0,4% from rare mobs. It's so worthless to spend hours sitting there and killing 1 single npc in hope for the item.

Edit. Why they can't be avaible even with coins? Tbh, i'd donate 10€ to get my transmog done, it's not a big deal.

level 20 items could be sold for 1 or 2 coins easily. It's not too high price for them. Amounts over that are going high, atleast in my opinion.

Then you didn't understand my point of view, when the point is exactly them being rare and not something everyone can get simply by logging in once a day for a while.

If you want to suggest items to be added to the coin shop, there's a thread in the Suggestions section for that. Don't expect 1 or 2 coins to be accepted, though, since that would again go against the purpose of the change and having the looks be uncommon or rare, as they should be.

Dear community and staff.

I'd like to make an open discussion about the changes that marketplace has gotten since warmane came up. I personally don't like the changes. I'd like to know, why were these changes made. Getting green armor and weapons, mounts, etc. All these items were able to be bought from marketplace, but not anymore. This change was made long time ago, but now i got so anoyed that i can't finish my transmogs without farming low level dungeons. As example, i did Gnomeregan for 1 single piece of transmog, already 4 times, without anykind of positive result.


I'd like to hear from you, staff of Warmane, why did you do such changes. What was wrong with the old system and how's this new system better in your opinion?

I agree. I loved to buy those items during leveling. Also, they were good for the twinks. Now its just boring

I never did buy them while leveling, it was just worthless waste of points. I did only buy them for transmogging, and now they're gone :c
