I did a lot of PvP during WoD, (nothing really serious tbh) Mostly Random Battlegrounds and PvP in that perspective was actually really enjoyable. I played BM Hunter and MM Hunter (whatever I felt like playing at the time) Fury Warrior (got into Protection Warrior way too late where there was only a few days left of Gladiator Warrior lol), Protection Paladin, Combat Rogue. Where I always done "decent" in those BGs. In terms of match ups they weren't usually 1 sided. And if they were 1 sided it is only cause the other person or I wasn't geared. I mean yeah there was some classes I couldn't kill so I didn't bother (probably cause I'm not really good in PvP or bad in PvP). I mean it is a lot better than lolmournes and Gurthadins

+1000, no PvE items for PvP.
And classes was more balanced than mop, except for DK-Druid-monks.
