Can't connect to the server

How will the DNS of the website for Warmane help you locate the issue ? I mean, you do realise the website can be hosted on a web hosting company, as it requires almost no resources compared to the server for the game which is practically around 600 times (possibly) larger resources. Also what you wanted to do is not traceroute, but ping I guess, but that also does not tell you why the wow server is rejecting logins or unable to handle the request, hence the disconnect. But enough with the theories.

Same problem here. I thought I was banned. I really hope this isn't a moltdown, my work holiday ends soon so I've invested a lot of time (By my standards) into my character these last week or two. I get instantly disconnected or stuck on authenticating.

Thought it was just me was wondering how to fix it but looks like others are having similar problems. Seems like the only thing we can do is wait.

Why is it that everyone thinks the server is going to burn and crash now? It's very likely that the login server just crashed.
