Why the aggressiveness.
Can you tell us what addons do that ?
Also you should take into consideration the fact that mobinfo & mobealth showing (changing) approximations and not working before some kind of damage is applied is a gimmick solution at best and not satisfying for a lot of people.
Edit : Alright I'll go give Mob Info a try before I say anything else about this proposed solution. Admittedly I'm being lame here !
Edit² : I've tried MobInfo and Mob Health. Mob Health doesn't seem to do anything (with Xperl) and MobInfo can't show numbers in target frames when an UI addon (like Xperl...) is installed.
So these solutions are indeed NOT satisfaying, at all.
Anyhow I'd love to read about the previous discussions on the matter so i (we) can understand better why it's been decided to stick with % only. I couldn't find more topics about that though.
I think the game is a lot more enjoyable / comfortable when you can see your targets' health values, especially in TBC where numbers were still small / significant enough to not be replaced with percentages.

Works with any addon by overwriting the original UnitHealth functions the client uses
Doesn't work either, are there ingame optios for this mod ? If yes, how do i open them ?
Edit : works now, with mobinfo.

I am currently using Mob Info 2, but I can only agree with others by saying that enabling the numerical values would be extremely neat!
Thank you for considering this Devs.
p.s. I'll duck your sick if you enable it :>
FFS we have an option: "Display Percentages" in the game settings, so we should have possibility to see either % or numeric values. Don't say a bullsht like "welcome to TBC", this is not the expansion issue but the server's one.
Mob Health and Mob Info 2 addons DO NOT WORK until a target gets some damage, and often I see some errors like "95657456" on the Health bar

The functionality to display numerical values for anything other than your party members was added in patch 3.0.2. It was not there during TBC and will not be implemented on our realms. There is no reason to necro a topic that has been answered numerous times before
Also, yes, that is how those add-ons work. They estimate the HP based on the damage dealt and the % difference of hp after an attack
