if you like 4.0.6 then go play the 4.0.6 server that was released
or it has to be warmane where you can buy your way to the top?
Warmane usually has longer population. Anyway in 4.0.6 you can't get Op pve items.
population is based on development of the server
no development no population
and you can see where warmane has their priority (where the money is)
100% not true.there is WOTLK servers that are way better working then warmane/molten but all of them are not even close to warmane population.
there was so many hyped TBC servers who claim they have best scripting bla bla on release day all o them had like 3-4k pop at most.warmane release TBC boom 15k pop.old molten-wow cata/MOP was super bugged.almost unplayable but they had huge population for years.
population is based of server reputation, how stable it is,is there a chance to shut down, what overall population the server had on other realms.development is not what people look for.old molten had 4 WOTLK realms running and as the same time was releasing ICC 1 boss per month only normal not hc,took them years till they release LK hc but people didnt care they still played it.
give me 4.0.6 with bad scripting i will play anyday over best scripted 4.3

Thats cause people became spoiled sheep who cant play on a server if there isnt 3 billion people playing on it.
7 years ago when i started playing here servers were capped at 3k. Look what people are saying about servers with 3k people now...dead server. People think its normal for a wotlk expansion to have 10k playing on it. Bottom line is people are dumb, they flock to whatever is cool and ATM warmane is the most famous wow community so everyone comes here. You cant take this community as proof of anything.
warmane released TBC boom 15k and then boom 11k boom 9k etc. The first wave of people who left didnt leave cause warmane has bad rep but cause they got ****ed with development (drops, spawns etc.) MoP again like the start of WOTLK had the mass influx of people cause it was one of the first (if not first) MoP server.
You saying people are not looking for server with active devs is pretty funny tho since you have the prime examples of this not being true right here on molten. If you really believe Cata died cause of a patch, why are Medivh and MoP so empty? Do you even read their part of the forums and what their complains are? You think they are complaining about warmanes reputation or their lack of development? Even Lord is getting empty cause dev decisions not cause of any reputation.
I mean even Molten had corrupt staff that made the server totally reset once what does that say about their reputation?
so by your logic when molten cata servers was **** scripted for years and nothing was fixed on cata, took them like 2 years until then release hc t11 raids, the reason people was playing there was because of the "active dev teams".but now that all the content is release and working and there is nothing major that is bugged people are leaving because "devs are not active" ?cool story bro.
i left because i dont like 4.3 same as most of people i played with.as you see many others say the same on the forum...but here you are telling us thats not true 4.3 was great content and we love it its the dev team not the patch....
and molten wow was not first MOP server wtf you talking about it was like the 10th one and most of others was better working then what we got.but was molten-wow so people play it...

Swarmer, early Cata on Molten was so ****ed up that Combat Rogues were doing 2x the DPS they were supposed to be doing. When the one major bug they had got reported (by me) and fixed, their DPS plummeted due to many other bugs. After they got reported (by me) and fixed, Combat rogue DPS more or less returned to the spot where it was supposed to be. At the time 4.3.4 was released, Combat worked as close to retail as I can imagine.
It went like that with all classes, yet people left. Why?
Hint: it's not the development.
I've never spent a single coin on items on any of the realms on Warmane. I've tried other servers, including such with better scripts than Warmane (fully scripted Hyjal, Twilight Highlands, Deepholm). I've been here since 2010 - it's called loyalty. I trust Warmane and if there is any server that I want to play 4.0.6 on, it's gonna be Warmane or none.
