Those points are irrelevant. If you want the suggestion to be approved, it needs its own validity. Not be supported with "But these other changes were made!" The staff has their own ideas as to what is an acceptable custom feature to the realm. Taking the approach that you are now will only get the response of "Give them an inch and they will take a mile". Trying to argue for suggestions with this sort of logic will only get them shut down. So, I'd suggest that if you really want a suggestion to see the light of day, then you should make arguments to support the validity of the suggestions themselves, and not argue with a precedent as a reason for validity.
Why have you only addressed the introduction to his massive post? The part you quoted is just a preface to a detailed list of suggestions. With respect, it really looks like you're trolling sometimes.
Please, get a grip and respond to the rest of the post like a proper member of staff instead of nitpicking and addressing irrelevant matters.

The only one needing a grip here is you, though. Despite what I pointed out in the first quote in the post, I still addressed the fact he is listing suggestions and saying how it would work but without giving arguments for why they are needed or even useful, simply going for the "you changed these other things, change these too." Until that, his suggestion is what's irrelevant. Instead of hijacking or derailing someone else's suggestion thread, they should have went and made their own. We don't need "laundry list" suggestion threads. Each suggestion should be argued for and have its own merit proven. To which he did not do. You are picking at me for not having responded to each of these suggestions he presented, but I didn't respond directly to the OP's suggestions either. He isn't deserving more than the OP is.
This is a suggestion section, not a discussion section. This thread could have been locked instead of me taking my time to reply to people's concerns or to express my own. Instead, I decided to take the time to respond to it. Also asking a forum moderator to comment on in-game suggestions, in which I would need to give my opinion as I am not involved in the decision-making process for in-game features/changes, just after insulting said moderator for giving their opinion? Huh?
It should be made clear that I am not here to approve or deny suggestions related to in-game. I can and often do, if the response to the suggestions in question is obvious, such as the ones listed in the suggestion section rules. I am not a Game Master. I am not a developer. I am not a community manager. I am not an administrator. I am not the project leader.
Next time you see me taking my time to respond to such a thread, I think you should remind yourself that the staff doesn't need to win an argument before they can approve or dismiss any suggestion. I'm going to lock this thread now - as it is the staff's opinions on the subject that is relevant, and we will review and approve them if we agree with them.
