Well to be fair i found a solution to make him mount, but you will have to make a group member run to the nearest pack of 5-6 mobs and pull it to Thrall, where you will have to die and let the mobs kill Thrall! He wont die - when he is at 1% hp he will heal to 100% and you will be able to kill the pack and talk to him again where he will actually mount afterwards. BUT when he is hiding in the trees the same thing happens and you will have to pull another group of mobs and kill him again - after that you will be able to talk to him again and he will continue... NOW at the last boss i havent found the solution for the quest to be completed -.-
I've tried:
1, Pull all mobs myself and killing everything without him dying (didnt work)
2, Letting him pull mobs while hiding in the house (didnt work)
3, Just killing everything because Thrall suddenly stopped moving inside the house and was frustrated... (didnt work)
So if you follow the steps with "killing" Thrall you will be able to get to last boss, but i dont know how to complete the quest, which is my intention with the whole run... Please fix this

I just did Old Hillsbrad. if you managed to get thrall killed. he will reset and move normally. You can complete the instance this way but not the quest to get attuned. I killed epoch hunter and everything but thrall never completes his destiny therefore not completing quest. Please fix sometime this century Warmane. Only being playing a couple of months and not impressed. already had my fair share of bugs, falling through the world, and ninjas. Such a great game and awesome administrators....

Hi, no it really hasn't... Just been back, it's still ridiculously bugged. I've been in 11 times now, trying different methods to success every time. Nothing works.
Either fix it or remove the attunement process, because it's ridiculous.

This.. You can abuse bugs to get the dungeon completed, but not the quest, the quest never completes.

Yeah an issue for us as well. Trying to get my shaman attuned for kara and can't, we tried absolutely everything possible, everything mentioned, and we can get him to the very end and even get him outside the house but he won't fulfill his destiny. You can get loot from epoch hunter but no quest completion so no attunement. I submitted a ticket so hopefully if enough people submit tickets they will do a hotfix at least. (auto-completing the quest, or whatever)

Good luck... I've submitted 5 tickets about it now, it just gets closed with the mail reply "We do not assist with problems of this nature, please submit a bug tracking report"

Yes this is one of the things we tried as well. You can kill Epoch Hunter (final boss) this way, but Thrall will not "fulfill his destiny" and as you said the quest will not complete.
The response I got to my ticket, by the way, was "please check bugtracker and if it's an existing issue then wait for the developers to fix it".
So I guess no one can get anyone new (or alts) attuned to raids at all until they decide to fix it :( Pretty cool

For this specific issue, no, it has not been a thing for "months". The bug report that has existed for Thrall's scripting for "months" is on a different issue. It wasn't until recently that the quest could not be completed. In any case, we are aware of the issue, and ranting about it is not going to get it fixed any quicker.

Thanks, we are sure it's being worked on but while a solid solution is found, is it possible to provide a manual fix? A bot / NPC ingame who can auto complete the quest? Many people are seem to be effected by this (even in /global or /general people are asking if it's fixed or not).
A temporary fix will make everyone happy.. Win Win.
