it's always been allowed here. staff have made it clear many times that's not going to change. no amount of crying/whining is going to change it. suck it up.
it's not an argument. it's a fact. if you don't like boxing you can suck it up. or you can leave. those are your 2 options.
you can see a staff reply at http://forum.warmane.com/showthread....=1#post2771873 if you want a more in depth response.
But its not a fact.
I see this.
And it makes me sad, that we can't think of a better argument.
they get banned for breaking the rules. boxing isn't against the rules. learn to read.
I have learned to read. and the post was about DISRUPTING the event. It just so happens to involve a multiboxer.
their not disrupting the event. they're playing the game. it would be no different than if a raid of 40 other players went and did the same thing. you people whine far to much.
Actually its completely different.
40 individual people are not that coordinated, they make mistakes.
What happened here was a complete coordinated strike using a software to be 100% coordinated for every toon this person had control over.
The whole ideology behind this entire post was;
AT WHAT POINT DO WE CALL THIS DISRUPTIVE.
and it is fair to say that someone controlling a 40 man raid is disruptive in this regard.
Because no raid group can overcome an obstacle like that.
It falls under the same sense as a level 80 going to a level one area and killing all NPCs so no one can access their quests thus not allowing them to progress.
that's allowed as well. there's other zones the noobs can level in.

"Disrupting gameplay: Using minor exploits or poorly designed parts of game mechanics to noticably interfere with other players' gameplay. Examples of such are: Resetting NPCs while other players joust with them on Argent Tournament and joining RDF only to idle and refuse to leave on your own to avoid the debuff."
so again. suck it up.
This may not be poorly designed mechanics, more than poorly designed ruling.
So, what is being said here is that a multiboxer is not EXPLOITING the rules to give themselves a better advantage and ruin someone(s) gameplay.
You really need to lose that attitude because it will get you no where with me.
If they're abusing a bug then report them and they'll be handled like everyone else but if they're sitting there killing people then it's really no different than if a competent guild did it. This being a limited time event we might do something but I wouldn't expect it to have anything to do with the disrupting gameplay rule.
That is kind of the point of this post.
Because this is a limited time event, it makes it hard to deal with 2 40m raid teams that are 100% coordinated in this regard.
Even those most competent pro guilds couldn't handle 2 40m raid grps with a BiS comp.
We all know this.
The thread is actually about multiboxers pulling and resetting the boss. And yes, I failed on the thought process of how disrupting gameplay works because I had just finished reading all about them killing players. If anything changes it'll most likely reference disrupting gameplay BUT I wouldn't expect the rule to be extended in other circumstances.
I'm going to point out the issue to someone relevant.
