WHAT THE ACTUAL F*K. An ally, and a lvl 80 to boot, COMPLAINING OF CORPSE CAMPING?. change faction, immediatelly. Omg, in my ten years of wow experience i never expected such audacity. Allies in all servers corpse camp and gank lowbies 24/7; hordes are doing it as well but not even half as much. And now an ally, level 80 complains about ganking. Ok paint me surprised. Northrend has many zones for you to quest for money, get achis and vote for points. You can afk dalaran and do rdfs till you get geared, and fair fights take place in arenas and bgs. The rest of the world is the place for war in a pvp server, if you want to play single player go and do it.

I understand that there are toxic ****s out there who may camp spawn points o mobs they dont even need to kill them to ruin your game, or corpse camp you for 1 hour straight( and I really cant understand said people). But for the love of god dont humor them.

PvP is pointless outside of BG/arenas. People who enjoy world PvP are mostly toxic AF.
You just have to endure it, I guess.

Like I said, if you can't handle the mechanics of this game, this might not be the right game for you. If the game allows it, there's nothing wrong with it in said game. It is a game after all. It's not real life, like, you didn't die for real man. Only your polygons did. Personally I never get corpse camped even when they try because I'm smart and know how to use my brain. You have options, if they are standing there waiting for you to respawn you can see them. Alt+tab and go look at youtube for 5 minutes or something while they stand there looking stupid. They go away after 5 minutes when they see you aren't resurrecting. Or, just get max distance, respawn, mount, and run, they won't catch you. Use brain, it not hard.

And what I wonder is if getting ganked and being corpse camped bothers you so bad that you have to get on the forums and whine about it, how come you don't just be a rogue, or a feral druid? They can just respawn and go into stealth. That's the first thing I thought when I joined this server, "Oh, this is a pvp server, hmm, better pick a rogue. so people don't slow me down by killing me all the time, just vanish."

Total agreement with Greedman45. Finding it really difficult to have any sympathy for any alli player complaining of getting ganked/camped. Server is in excess of 70% alli in pvp. Try leveling a horde character.

I was playing mine lvl 25 undead mage today and some peace of **** full geared gnome was camping me for 1 ****ing hour get a life rly or go camp same lvls

Same, really hard to quest in Hellfire Peninsula or Zul'Drak, to name a few areas, when an 80 has nothing better to do than one shot a bunch of lowbies.

Anyhow, I read another post on the subject, recently closed, and my conclusion is that hardly anybody is gonna change their mind with regard to ganking, be it those in favor, or those against. (I'm certainly against.)

The fact of the matter is, these days, I'm being forced to avoid my favorite areas and quest elsewhere. I'm still having fun, and this is still the best WotLK server for me, but the ganking epidemic does suck.

To the OP, I couldn't agree more lol. I have said for many many years that WPVP isnt pvp its just griefing. I like to think that all these serial gankers are just sexually frustrated teens that are socially awkward and have zero pvp skill.

IMHO real pvp happens in bgs and arena. As for the horde vs the alliance the allys have always been 10x worse for ganking/camping and its been like that from my experience since TBC retail. Best thing is to logout for awhile. Having a banker alt is a great idea and/or having a lowbie alt made that you can hop on to for a bit.

Remember, these awkward teenagers have the attention span of a fly. They will move on. Don't try to fight back don't /spit don't give them any satisfaction.

In my experience lordaeron has WAY less ganking and I have leveled to 80 being ganked only 2-3 times total there. Ganking is also VERY time of day related. On lord theres the alliance peak time and the horde peak time so if you figure out which one you play in you can choose your faction accordingly.

I won't suggest you leave warmane, but if its a huge problem (esp if you are a new player) then you can always find a PVE server somewhere. (Where pvp only happens in bgs and arenas) I really wish there was a PVE server option here I would move there in a heartbeat.

Funny thing is that I believe the VAST majority think camping lowbies is kidstuff and are just bad players. I mean kill me once fine w/e right. Spending 3 hours of your life trying to torment someone trying to quest is just insane to me but hey there's lots of kids and mentally unwell people who play mmorpgs lol. I remember reading a statisitic from blizzard way back in the day that said a majority of women and children/teens choose alliance!! Make of that what u will :D
ps: Avoid tanaris and stv like the plague!!! Go to a different zone you will just waste time in those places usually.

I level a lot of characters, no heirlooms etc, always less than 24hrs. I live stv and tanaris quests and camping there isn't even 1/10 as bad as people on forum cry.

In the time that You wrote these messages You could probably just outlvl stv/tanaris, but You do like it. World pvp isn't problem, its nice, bring a little frustration but way more fun :)

To OP: bottom line is that on a pvp server ppl can spend 8hrs a day doing this so my advice is go to lordaeron this kind of stuff happens but not even a small fraction of what it does on icecrown.
