Yeah... That is why we had a massive ban wave at the end of the season. Because they've perfected their system...
Now seriously. System can't be perfect(and anyone expecting it to be is unreasonable). You'll always have people making new hacks and scripts to try and cheat, but I feel like they are waiting far too long to act, doing massive ban waves at the end of the PVP seasons instead of banning people the moment they get sufficient evidence.

Been playing for 10 years now, through molten to warmane, and I can say that I enjoyed it alot. From what I can agree there are multiboxers but I havent event seen those in a month now (playing PVE mostly) and pve content is just amazing. Lordareon is awesome becouse you cannot pay to get gear and you have to earn everything you have (except bags and mounts) and I find that really good. Overall its a great experinence and would recommend it.

PROS. If you like WotLK, Warmane's servers are the absolute best, bar none, in terms of quality and popularity. Can't stress this enough, particularly considering that these are private servers. Warmane is just amazing in pretty much every aspect I can think of, in both PvE and PvP. Choice of x7 rates (with x3 professions, thanks!) or x1, with LFG system and BG queues working well. Pretty decent spell queuing (although by no means perfect). We're allowed to report ninja looting. In general, great service from GMs and technical support, and reasonably swift, too. Two-factor authentication working (albeit a tad glitchy).
CONS. Bans for random reasons while taking breaks from the game. Good quality in general, but a few important bugs that kind of stand out like a sore thumb, such as knockback from balance druids' Typhoon not working for years. Ganking a bit out of hand. Also, forum moderation too strict for my taste, such as a few forum threads completely removed without trace, rather than closed.
OVERALL. Just love playing here, and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy the game at its golden age.Edited: April 23, 2020

I never get questions like this.....Your gonna get a bias answer on the warmane forums....specially from use who have been playing since molten wow.
quesues are not a problem if your not a cheap ***! spend 10 dollars (US) and skip que, and support the server with its cost.
How happy am i with the server, Well since i been here 8 years pretty happy! I mean i meet my wife playing molten wow.
Biggest problem, which i assume plagues all private servers is since you can buy all your gear quite simply need max GS to do the simplest of things...and then when you get into the group with all those max geared players..a Good percent of players you can tell have paid for gear as they dont know the fights and simply dont have the experience on their class. Granted that could just be all pubs!
But your not gonna get a non bias answer on the warmane forums...best bet is to just try it for yourself!

Hate to break it to you bud, but I have several friends who have full donor characters on lordareon, they made them and lvl them on icecrown, paid for all the gear and then paid for realm transfers.

Warmane has anti-cheat detection for scripting and hacking. You must have lost so badly by getting interrupted every time easily that's why I think you are now complaining about scripting. This is a cliche statement all the time 'Oh I got interrupted, I blame Warmane for allowing scripts.' Guess what, scripts are a myth to cover up for your losses.
I think this is not true. If it were to be true, I'd transfer one of my full geared BIS character from Icecrown to Lordaeron right now.

I've been playing for 5 years (on and off) and there's no doubt it's the best wotlk server. It has a high population, you can find nice peeps around. Yeah there's the down side of toxic attitudes, but don't let it discourage you. After all, it's free. I agree with the pay to win situation because otherwise the staff wouldn't be motivated to work on it. You have the choice of non pay2win realm, which is great.
About botting, scriptin etc... idk. I don't spend much time farming gold or leveling is not disrupted by botters in my case. What annoys me is the multi boxers. I think there should be some restrictions or introduce a multiboxer tax. IF you want to multibox- pay extra for each account you create for that sole reason. Another thing is not having the option to turn off world pvp. It's just not fair.
Otherwise, for a free server.. it's great!

i only care about pvp so i will exclude pve / leveling etc from my thoughts in this message ,
if i had to rate warmane pvp atm on a scale from 1 to 10 i'dd give it a 4/10 maybe 5/10 at best , and the reasons are the following :
1_ Arena pillars are just there for decoration mele hits go throu them
2_ Deadzone / kiting , is almost impossible as melee range / charge range is obviously tweaked which broke the entire gameplay and made the pvp more of a zerg to win then outplay your opponent
3_ gear is easily obtained from shop , so it's easy for a hacker to bypass a ban by creating bis char immediately after the ban ( vpn to bypass ip ban )
4_ there is no where on the forum to report cheaters and discuss about it which only helps THEM ( the cheaters )
5_ there isn't enough game masters for the amount of players the server have and warmane doesnt seem to even care about recruit more of them
6_ bug reports take YEARS to be even confirmed let alone fixed
7_ white hits are sometimes delayed which can cause wierd pvp scenarios like if you are low health and manage to clone the warior hitting you he would still hit you with a white hit from inside the clone and kill you... ( just an example )
8_ transmog system is trash ( seriously )
9_ some players who are known for scripting keep getting banned then unbanned 2 days later :)
10_ it almost always feel like warmane only care about donation not the experiance players have
and to close this my advice to staff is : if you want donations give the players smthing they can be gratefull for thats how they will keep supporting u and you will create longterm playerbase which will be loyal to the serv not just random new players who donate few coins then are dissapointed with the server and never come back

I like the overall server, many things work as intended.
I like how they keep things blizzlike, while also adding features desired by the community in a good way (transmog etc.)
I don't like the PvP, since most are alliance due to the human racial.
I don't like how so many people use Shadowmourne, as if it drops off a mob or something. It breaks the balance.
And I also don't like how some things are made unobtainable, unless you donate, like the S4 gear set and the Scroll of Purification.

The que is only a issue if you dont spend a minimum of 10 euro to permanently skip the que.
There are a bunch of scripters and gcd hackers in pvp mostly in high end arena.
Overall Warmane is great, it does has issues just like any other server has.

Not great by any means, not terrible. Scripting is a HUGE issue that they pretend they've resolved and it's virtually impossible for a new player to be able to succeed at endgame content without donating. Want to join a raid? Too bad, you need to work ten times as hard to enter a raid because GS lul. Want to PvP? Forget about arenas, you don't script. In fact, forget about it all together if you aren't a BiS Human playing in the EU. All this aside, this is all we have until blizzard decides to stop fooling around and re-release Wrath and TBC.
