Can you help us to understand what a good reason is ?
Very few things are. It takes being something positive, doable, without easily foreseen potential for abuse, that will be beneficial for everyone or at least a very very large slice of the population and other similar factors. An example that fits is Transmogrification on Wrath of the Lich King. It's also worth noting that the decision is still solely in our hands, even if something might seem to "check all the boxes" from a player's perspective.
In general, anything that revolves around "make this easier/faster/more convenient" doesn't fit, as the things such suggestions want to change are seen as part of what the game is about. Before someone mentions increased rates, those exist just because the focus where they are applied is on the end game, not so much on the leveling.
That all sounds nice, but in practice, from a player's perspective at least, Warmane will do what it wants. The developers probably have their own priorities, and most of their intentions and reasonings will not be communicated on the forums. Something as simple as ready crystals still require manhours to develop, test, and deploy. Perhaps the old crystals were not implemented properly and has caused issues, or that part of the code was rewritten for whatever reason. Be patient.

From what I remember, the old crystals were removed along with everything else Blackrock had that didn't match the rest of the servers when it was going to be brought into the cross-server features. That would make the action just part of aligning it with our other servers by taking out such customizations, not a matter of rewriting anything.
