I doubt it, it's not really something you can do wrong. It didn't work for my other two friends who are playing here either. Really weird.
I found the actual source code for a fix a while ago but didn't test it out of fear it would trigger a ban or something. I finally tried it out on a fresh account. I haven't noticed any glitches. I was careful to turn off most of the fixes to limit my concerns, but I did leave the animation fixes in there because I definitely noticed them my first day playing.

Nice finding, I will apply some of those to my executable.
I have had the camera fix patch applied for years and I did not get banned. I'm not sure if it's the same patch in that patcher though.
