You capability to read whatever you want to never ceases to amaze.
It makes me wonder if that gives some insight on why your reports get rejected.
Aren't you being a little too rude on the guy? You even went into his reports to check... So much for staff not having the mandatory duty to check logs

But I'm not here to judge you, at least not about that, I'm sorry if I sounded that way. I came into this post because I had a similar problem, but now that I'm watching what you guys have written. Are you sure, Obnoxious, you aren't being a little bit too indulgent with the GM and staff members? Everyone can make mistakes. You say that if the GM placed a ban, then it's fair. Like if there was no chance for mistake. Specially considering that you don't have or don't check the logs when punishing people after reports.
I also agree that Warmane should keep logs and grant these logs to the GM so they can confirm and contrast with the ticket's information. But if the donations are not enough for afford that, or if your GM are volunteers and not hired: There is little space for implementing that.
Still, saying with conviction that the GM make fair decisions off a few screenshots, just because not many people came to complain in 8 years. Makes me a little uneasy about the security of my own account.
I appreciate the ban appealing system, I guess is the best resource that people that have been banned have. But I also saw this extreme-trust in the informative post about ban appealing, where ban-appealing is sayed to be the lowest priority between the tickets. It is really even lower than the ones that request information?
I'm afraid that this might be a real problem that could be in Warmane with no really recognizion from part of the staff. I guess there is nothing to do if you really are so certain that the staff is capable to make perfect decisions. I'm sorry if I sounded judgemental. I just wanted to aknowledge what I've seen in you and in other places of Warmane moderation that aren't quite right and could put in risk accounts. Still, I appreciate the service you provide and the nice things you do completely for free.

Making false reports will get your main account permanently banned. I'm not going to discuss how the GMs know the difference but I've seen it play out before.

I'll only address this part, since Report already said what needs to be said about the rest.

No, I'm not, at all. He plucked a fragment of a much longer sentence I typed and took it out of context to fabricate some "gotcha" attempt, and this isn't a first time he has acted "problematic." But then again you are doing kinda the same. Where did you somehow imagine that you saw my post say anything about checking his reports, logs or "mandatory duties"?

Here it says "It makes me wonder if that gives insight on why your reports get rejected" so, you kinda indicate here that his reports get rejected. I'm not taking it out of context. It is easy to presume that if you say that this guy's reports get rejected, you must have checked them, right? That was what I was refering.

And about the mandatory duties, that part may have sounded a bit rude, I know, sorry. But I meant to refer to when you said: "GMs strictly look at what's provided in reports, nothing else. They have no duty to look over any logs, whether they are kept or not, because a player made a bad report.", this was a few post ago before the message I quoted in the same thread (Not really sure how to quote again). I meant to create a connection between the fact that you must have checked his reports to know that his reports get rejected, with your statement that staff don't have duty to check logs or nothing else than what it is provided in a situation. Although your original post referred to GMs and ticket reports, I kinda made a parallelism with the situation at hand seen in the thread.

Still, I just wanted to make sure that I made myself clear. As of now, I already seen some of this guys post which give me some insight of what you mean with "problematic". So I won't make more comments about that, and you can disregard the one I made.

But I'm still uneasy about the things I explained in my post. I wasn't really speaking about false reports, I don't think I ever mentioned that; but rather about human mistakes that can be commited by the GMs, just like all humans do. But I won't go further with that, since I just made that post as some sort of written statement of the things I saw in these years. And although I would have liked a more complex answer to my statement. I wasn't really expecting an answer at all. So I thank you for your response, although I find it useless for practical purposes.
