Thanks for reply and asnwer. I do agree that this system is destroying pvp as people stops joining all together. I did fix my situation by buying one wrathful item and i was moved to mid Blackrock bracket 5-5.6 GS. Now im actually happy and im enjoying pvp again. Win/Loss is 1:1.
Hopefully the GMs will fix this situation as it is ****in up the server.
Update:
Im 5.4k gs with full furi, not even all WF accesories but im in BGs with full WF guys with SHM. It's like a star wars in BGS. At least half of guys had SHM.
Pvp became again uplayable, idk what to do now.
From all characters i have, here is what i saw (I'm not a GM, these are my personal observations!):
- High and low bracket are not about gearscore but ilvl, that's why these account have Shadow Edge
- Last week, my shaman jumped from low to high bracket with only 222 ilvl : he looted a staff from Tyanus and became full pic. It must be something around this. That's why twinkers keep 2-3 blue-greens items like warriors with green range weapons.
- Some items are blacklisted from low bracket : if you buy an 277/284/Legendary Weapons, you are automatically on high bracket, even if you are full green on all other slots and having 13k HP. It may apply on gear too.
- Generally, my characters switched from lower to high bracket around 230 ilvl
- More players = less chance to face lvl 80 twinks in low bracket, so if you play from Europe, avoid pvp in the morning (especially on horde).
Stats from my lowest characters :
--------------------------Warrior------Rogue--------Mage---------Shaman-----Warlock
ilvl---------------------244-------------233-------------229-----------222---------------220
Gearscore----5309----------4981----------4952--------5013------------4820
Full Epic----------Yes---------------Yes---------------No-------------Yes-----------------No
Bracket------------High------------High-----------Low------------High--------------Low
My shaman is having hard times in high bracket atm.
Getting a full epic character with around 230 ilvl seems the good way to move to the next lvl.
This list is good example but the actual list is even bigger and most of it contains ally players who abuse.
Answer is very easy, most likely those abusers donate on montly base some kind of money and thats why eyes beeing closed about them reports. Or this whole bracketing attracts those type of players who like to abuse it and they gonna put in money to their chars. No other explanations.

No, there's no relation between donating and some sort of imaginary "immunity." Take your conspiracy theories elsewhere.
My fix for the brackets would be to just remove them all. Let the game be how it used to be, with everyone, from the newbiest of newbies wearing the bare minimum to queue up to the best geared with nothing left to upgrade, all in the same pot.
Back in the day I was a strong proponent of brackets in response to the complains of unfairness and lack of balance. Nowadays, seeing that the outcome is the whining gets multiplied by the number of brackets, showing that likely there would always be people complaining until they have their own individual bracket where they always win solo against no one, I'm more in the "**** this" camp.
