You were singled out because you're the one complaining. There's no "bad behavior" going on, people were discussing something you brought up in the topic - after the question you wanted them to focus on had already been answered. I suppose that's why you'd feel "scolded," you seriously believe they were doing something wrong, which is a really strange stance simply because they weren't focusing on you.
