Considering it's cross-realm battlegrounds and arenas, wouldn't it be fairer for BlackRock realm to start with Furious gear instead of Relentless?
By the way Free Action Potions should cost more on BlackRock realm.
Unfortunately, reasonable suggestions exactly like yours (like your actual suggestion) has been suggested ad nauseum, but Warmane officials have stated that they are completely uninterested and unwilling to make those changes.
Obviously nobody wants the game to be one hundred percent equal in absolutely every aspect. I dont think anyone in this thread for instance has requested something like a full overhaul of every spell in the game or completely equal battlegrounds down to a single itemlevel digit. One reasonable change that a lot of people in this thread have brought up for instance could be to look over the bracketing system as right now it is either about abusing the system (which is as far as i understand it a bannable offence that nobody is getting banned for as there are multiple threads about it) by twinking the lower bracket or getting full BiS and then going human or playing in a group, usually disabling the merc mode system if you are on ally. Another could be to make FAPs completely unavaliable on Blackrock. Icecrown and Lordaeron don't have Graccus and as such it is not unreasonable to think of a scenario where Blackrock just doesn't have FAPs.
There is no simple way to just "fix" PvP, as this thread shows, but Merc mode opened a can of worms and we now live with the consequences of those worms. Until merc mode is either forced on everyone or is completely removed (which will never happen, as Warmane has stated, to the joy of the smallest realms on the server), ally will be completely dominant because the only upside to Horde (apart from RP reasons) was the shorter que times before merc mode. Everyone knew this, the entire PvP community were aware that the benefit of Human was weighted against the 23 minute ques and as such some people just went Horde to go play the game and not sit in a que.
A fix for an exploit some people were using to get gear they weren't supposed to in a certain bracket (like having Shadowmourne on the lowest bracket), as well as a change to the cost of Free Action Potions on Blackrock to 5000 honor each, are live.

So now Icecrown and Lord realms can use faps as much as they want, but blackrock ppl cant? What will you do to the price of faps on the pve realms? 1 person can probably farm 10 stacks of FAPs or 200-300 pcs in a single day or more. And blackrock player now can get like what 5 - 10 potions if he play bgs all day long? Is that the fairness you are looking for?

Nobody has argued the system should be 100% fair, just that FAPs were an issue because they were too cheap. Nobody is saying 5k is the perfect price either.
I think 5k honor per FAP is too much. https://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=36919 costs 10k honor on Icecrown and is worth 250 gold in the AH.
1x FAP costs 65 gold in the AH.
So for 10k honor you get around 4x FAP on Icecrown.
Blackrock should have a similar pricing which makes it ~2500 honor per FAP.

I don't think it's exactly fair to compare two realms that are quite different from one another. You get your FAP's by doing the main activity you signed up for when you joined instant max level, generous starter gear PvP focused realm.
If you go farm FAP's on Icecrown/Lordaeron, you can't do much else meanwhile, you run after herbs all the time. Not the most thrilling gameplay now is it. With 12k pop, probably some competition is to be expected too.
The price might be fine tuned more later, who knows.
If you think grass is so green on the other realms, you're welcome to hop over the fence to join them.

I think both realms are comparable because you can also get FAP on Icecrown just by doing PvP.
Buy https://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/item=36919 for honor -> sell it in AH -> buy FAP in AH for the earned Gold.
With that method you get on Icecrown around twice as many FAP for honor than right now on Blackrock.

What?
Let's assume you get 2k honor from a BG win, for that 2k honor you can buy 10 FAPs on Blackrock.
On Icecrown you need 5 wins to get one gem, and they current sell for 240g on ah. A fap is 65g each. That means you earn around 48g per win.

I'll go over the new posts a bit later.
Thank you. This and LAP being 5k each will be a total game changer. More people will play CC classes, and it will force hunters who are severely overpowered and overrepresented in BGs be forced to play with a trinket or die in a single stun.
Might not seem like a huge issue for many people, but if you play a mage or a rogue, you know how annoying these FAPs have been. You have to blind/poly and then just run away and wait for the FAP to end, and hope you can kill him before the pot cd wears off, and he pops another one.
