You still can on Icecrown. Which is where the premades are btw. Guess the new meta is to get farmed regularly so you don't end up on someone's ****list and they save CC for you specifically.
Imagine if the roles were reversed and Icecrown had the insanely expensive FAPs. Old Division would literally quit the game again.
At least Kenzz's deathcount is gonna go down with this change.

We've had the insanely expensive pots for years. Like 70g for a fap. If I had used it as often as Blackrock players did, I'd blow over 1k every single BG. I saw people from Blackrock pop them in 3v1s even.

10k gold on Icecrown is 4 coins dude. I work a normal day job. If I could buy 100 FAPs for 4 coins on Blackrock too, I wouldn't be complaining.

The whole point of Blackrock is to have a skill-based competitive environment and not have to care about gearing or professions. Honestly completely off-topic when FAPs are only relevant in equal gear pvp anyways. You get smacked more by gear than a potion.
Either way; stack of FAPs in the coin shop when? Seems fair considering Icecrown can spend coins to bypass the grind. Makes you more money, too.

That was true until the point when it got cross-server'd.
I'd personally be more (way, way, way more) than all for Blackrock to get isolated as it used to be, but while that's not the case, you can't expect to just have everything with a few clicks and trump the effort other players had to make to get to the same point. In the end of the day, our flagship servers are Icecrown, Lordaeron and Onyxia, not Blackrock.

You could always make a character on Icecrown and PvP there. Why wouldn't you? FAP is "cheap", you can easily farm them, and you get to join those pesky "icc premades".

Finally someone who actually plays on Blackrock and doesn't dismiss the issue by repeating "play Icecrown".
It's not at all telling junkies to stop doing drugs. It's giving normies the ability to join junkies and fairly distribute drugs that completely change the environment in end-game PvP. Fairly disheartening seeing admins chiming in when they have no personal stake in PvP or Blackrock in general.
I personally sold my Icecrown characters to swap over to Blackrock years ago to have more ease of access to food in BGs, drums, potions, ammo etc. These were all available on Icecrown but it required constantly selling gems from honour, planning for the gold squish or spending coins for gold. Now I still pay for the consumables but I use currency exclusively gained from the only format I enjoy or play in WOTLK.
This is absolutely fair, fine and balanced. Same as Icecrown with the added benefit of PvE for those who enjoy that. I can't buy consumables from other players on Blackrock and I can't buy them for coins or anything other than currency gained from playing the game actively at decent rate.
You've heard takes from multiple Blackrock veterans and even people like me who've been actively playing on both servers. Increase the price to 500 honour per potion if you must or make them available for coins. It's simply just crippling to even try to give the premades someone to queue against now.

Did you ever raise your voice when FAP was dirt cheap on Blackrock, while Icecrown players had to pay 60g+ a piece. Ofc you didn't, because the dirt cheap price benefited your ***, that's how it always goes. Stay silent when it's extremely good for you, but when the scales are tipping on the other side, it's time to go for war.
Let's call the high price a petty payback for years of low cost FAP abuse. The price should go down, but it shouldn't be a trivial cost where you don't have to think if it's worth to use it whenever it's off of a CD.
