Blackrock/Onyxia imbalance

Patience guys... It's phase 1 now in Onyxia, of course it's going to be much more difficult to equip yourself, but as the phases progress, things will change. When one is asked for a zillion sand points for a weapon (2-3 weeks of farming) then another can get it in raid, with GDKP, HR, council or /roll. And just talking about one thing. Even so, it will always be easier to do pvp on a server made specifically for it, but there won't be as much difference as now.

Wow, imagine leveling rogue on Onyxia, trying your hardest to get through heroics, then find kara raid (almost impossible as rog) and mayybe getting some loot from there eventually, only to get BLASTED in arena by Blackrock rogues with EPIC gems, 1k leg enchants and epic pve weapons. There is NO point in trying to run arenas with Onyxia toon. Maybe if you nolife it really hard you have a chance, but not much. Just check armory for top Ony rog vs top BR rog and see the difference and note, that the onyxia one, is nolifing really hard and even then, he has much worse gear, ZERO epic gems and not the top leg ench. Why? Cos he broke.
Hope warmane staff reconsideres their decision, if not then gl to onyxia pvp player.

This just is not true it’s way easier to obtain PvP gear on ony. The full blue set just requires rep most ony players had it well before us. Not only that Kara takes less then 2 full hours to run meanwhile to do the Kara quest on our server can take days esp as a healer not only that but there is another huge downside. You guys are getting multiple items per boss kill which means you are way more likely to get his stuff much faster we get a single box with 1 item out of the entire loot table so 95% of what you really are getting is useless trash. It’s not some mega unfair advantage if anything ony has a massive jump start on PvP gear and the very dedicated people (I farmed 12-14 hours a day the whole first week) have gear sure but what do you want. You guys get full season 1 epics and we have to play with blue gear only if you don’t enjoy PvP that’s your issue not the state of the server. We are going onto week 3 and my disc priest has yet to even complete the Kara questline once it was originally way too hard including quest 2 taking days to complete defending AB bases meanwhile yall have full bis from heroics can go Kara easy week 1 and start access bis game items this season if I was on ony my priest could have match wep easy tier 4 helm surrounded by PvP gear I got fully from dungeons. Meanwhile on ony you gotta trade 5 badges for 1 heroic box to get nothing if you think it’s meta unfair for us you just haven’t logged on the server. Nor is it surprising in classic with level 60 cap it was all ony players thus nobody can complain everything is equal but if they don’t host a PvP server then you have no options to ever PvP on ladder for ony except for queuing into the same few teams forever. Tbc is quite popular and with malaco back holding a reputation for one of the best PvP servers ever it’s really not a shock it’s popular instead of complaining be happy you have options for both tbc is when arena starts there was always gonna be a massive influx when it dropped just wait for wrath you gonna complain that better guilds came and took rank 1 pve ranks from you too but you have all the advantage

"full bis from heroics" --> Really? did you try running a heroic on Onyxia? --> Heroics are harder than Karazhan, while you "complete the heroic" by turning in 7 battleground marks, which btw you can buy from honor as well. People on Blackrock had gear from 200 badges in first week. Just come to Onyxia, and try going Ramparts heroic for example. Please. :)

"holding a reputation for one of the best PvP servers" --> This statement really paints a picture that you are just a BattlegroundBot on Blackrock and in arena you didn't went past by 0-10 score in weekly cap. This server has a ton of bugs, and season 1 right now is almost pointless with the amount of bugs. If they fix it, season 2 will be playable on a level of TBC Classic or some other private servers. Don't get me wrong, Warmane 2017 was THE BEST, but this new client imposes a lot of bugs.

Even a year later, I agree with the imbalance between Blackrock and Onyxia. I have been gearing pvp gear for a little while now, almost full merci. was in an AV this morning with mainly blackrock players, and I was getting smacked around like I was at 0 resil. It really makes it unenjoyable and kills the pvp aspect. I hope something changes in the upcoming patches. I also understand that mixing the two servers allows for quicker queues; to be honest, it is not worth it for me.

Ya we're in Season 4 paired with Sunwell gear. Season 2 gear is just a decoration at this point. The stat difference is significant. Also resilience in TBC especially at this point of the game doesn't provide much value, it only affects crits and not by enough to stop much. A full PvE Sunwell geared player can melt anything in a battleground.

What do you mean? You didn't enjoy getting clapped by Blackrock players with Kil'Jaeden gear when meanwhile we were stuck on SWP's buggy trash, buggy bosses and pre-nerf difficulty?
