Regarding arena rewards:
I'd like to know (and I assume many other players would too) why the Gladiator title doesn't come with a corresponding mount.
In Season 1 players with the Gladiator title had its corresponding mount (and the S1 forum post didn't mention anything about it).
Therefore, we would like to know if only Rank 1 players will actually get a mount or glad awarded players will too.
Thanks in advance.
Blizzlike would be going off a percentage which can't work here with the population. Rewards would probably be based off active participating teams. That might be a lot less than S1. I think it's awesome 2 v 2 is getting a top reward.
S1 was a little strange because the top rank in TBC for the first season was Gladiator. The original Gladiator title. In S2 you now have Merciless Gladiator and then the secondary Gladiator titles. With that format though there's no actual prestige for the S1 top teams. It also wasn't apparent if S1 top teams were the only ones that got a mount or secondary gladiators also did... there's no way to differentiate between the players. All gladiators would be perceived the same.
We base the rewards on currently active population participating in arena. After careful consideration, we decided that teams ranked fifth to second will receive Gladiator titles and the top ranked team will receive the seasonal gladiator title for the remainder of the Burning Crusade phase.

thats fair enough, but its still doesnt explain why only Rank1 gladiators get the mount it should be distributed to all gladiators same as last season

Yes, it explains that on the very first line of the post you quoted. Rewards are based on the active players participating in the Arena, and the title and mount are two rewards. While they might have been given together before, this time the participation made us decide to split them.

If it's based on participation, then I can tell you for sure there's definitely more this season than the last.
