Horde has tried multiple times to fight ally premades in WG and they keep on losing, the only time horde guilds will go WG is when they have a huge tenacity advantage or ally is not premading.
As for Neu Division, those are just random no name HK farmers/guild hoppers/faction hoppers. They would jump the ship instantly if ally guilds started doing AV/IOC premades again.
Only reason I did not mention them to begin with is cause of how irrelevant they are.

I'm completely agree, They're just cowards who travel in groups, then you run into them in duels or arenas and...
I've also made premades, but with the goal of winning the BG. It's not normal for them to be farming numbers and have a flag to pick up two meters away and ignore it to flatter the game. They could devote themselves to mining or go to Minecraft because it's pretty ridiculous to do that with the sole purpose of increasing your stats.

The only time ally run more then one raid for WG is when they are up against actual premades. Dont make up fake numbers please :)

The most logical solution would be premade v premade. Its not that hard to implement, and players would still get to play, just without steamrolling newbies or solo players. How is this not already done by the devs? It’s really frustrating to play BG's in the current state.

Totally agree with everything OP has said about this topic, also as someone who has played in premades and solo queueing for BGs.
The people who say "just join a premade" as a solution are disingenuous or plain ignorant -- akin to telling homeless people to "just a buy a house".
Also, if large premades were indeed something Blizzard consciously intended in its original design, why do we need an addon (PreformAV) to form such premades and not be able to do it in the native client (with a group of >5 people)?
OP mentioning the current anti-afk system rewarding the abusers is spot on as well. Maybe increase the time it takes to be kicked so people getting farmed can actually make it to another graveyard?

The "funniest" thing is that even if you click Cancel at GY and there will be no window, you will be resurrected anyways and insta killed with aoe :D But it doesn't matter - there is no way to resurrect if you die once, because they dont capture the gy's they farming.
And you know, I made the best choice described by TS - since getting the last fresh 80 to gs(pvp) 5.5+ I've played like 10 BGs, and just left 50% of them because it were AV/IOC with well known personages in premades. That was the lightest and fastest gear up that I ever had. Instead of fighting premade vs premade at WG, the place with known time and place of a play, they prefer farming 5k gs randoms at AV GY, who have no chance to be assisted by someone like Wicked after BG is started.
But recently they had sunk in my estimation - after like 3rd wins of tuesday's WG in a row (which I took part of in one evening) there were nothing to do anymore, because all my chars had been in VOA for that long day. And how amazed I was, when I got AV proc as RBG right after WG and met Neu Division premade, including their bis mbxs, farming AV GY with HK score like 400-20.
So, instead of a help horde to counter Wicked and get into VOA 1st time for lots of last hours and close the week CD, this absolutely dishonorable premade preferred aoe GY in AV. They don't deserve any respect anymore, because they don't follow any interests besides own - useless millions of HKs. I was much better opinion of local wpvp guilds before that, even with mbx, but they have shown their true nature that day.

the most enjoyable part of all of this is that even if you leave the bg, wait the deserter and queue again - you'll go right back into that BG because the farmers haven't finished their meal yet...

been my experience as well and i only queue solo, premades seem boring af, just walking around immortal with pocket heals mowing down noobs and getting hks. Wheres the fun? Going rambo is much better when you have the skill to do it.
I actually pity them, they deny themselves the fun of winning a challenging 1v1, 1v2, or even 1v3. Their chemicals will never flow, they will stare at an hk number going up with drool dripping from their mouths aoeing graveyards like a heroic dungeon mob pull for the rest of their days.
But yeah what noobs need to learn is to simply run away from the premade farmball, do objectives around them, they aren't everywhere at once. Running into them dying then getting gy farmed is such an overwhelming skill issue idk what else to say.Edited: December 7, 2025

Just add a BG que that is solo/dou que and ice crown only. Gearing an alt on icecrown playing against a horde team with 5 or 6 black rock characters makes me not want to play the game anymore. this would solve literally 95% of the issues with the casual pvp community.

If you think about it, pvp should be competitve environnement. The fact that people donate for the gear is irrelevant. warmane is now 10+ years old. people had all the time to grind their stuff/gold to get BiS. Premade are not the problem. the problem is trying to fix a game wich was meant to be this way.
