1. From the original Onyxia launch FAQ. Hard to find cause the actual post is archived, but I found it quoted.

"Marketplace: To elaborate on what we said on the main post, the plan is to have item releases similar to Frostmourne, but the items will be available sooner. This means that the top guilds will be able to clear the content and get their achievements and whatnot without the assistance of the shop, but the items will arrive sooner on the shop than they did on Frostmourne."

So as stated above they don't release the store items until the first guilds have cleared the next tier raid content to give players the chance to experience it. Case closed.

  2. I understand the concern that adding Naxx/EoE/OS gear to the store might let people «skip» content. But I see it differently — the store is about equalizing chances between guilds competing in the next phase.

Before Ulduar releases, every guild has a limited number of clears in Naxxramas, Sartharion and EoE. And loot distribution is pure RNG — one guild might get all the key BiS pieces they need for Ulduar progression, while another gets «vendor trash» for weeks. Both guilds put in the same effort, but one enters Ulduar with a massive advantage purely due to luck.

This isn't about avoiding content. Most players who buy gear from the store still run the raids — they want to refine their skill on a fully geared character. Look at UWU Logs (Logs for non-blizzard WOW servers): the competition there isn't about who has the best RNG, it's about execution, strategy and mastery. The store simply removes an unnecessary randomness factor before the real competition begins.

That's why I really hope Warmane adds Naxx gear to the store before Ulduar releases — not after. It would give every serious guild a fair shot at Realm First without relying on boss loot tables. After all, gear should drop with 100% certainty somewhere (your mailbox) when the alternative is hoping RNGesus smiles upon you during a limited number of clears.

The quote completely contradicts what you're saying. If it "releases similar to Frostmourne, but the items will be available sooner" then it means they should and will release the store with Naxx items way before Ulduar starts. They confirm it just after by saying store shouldn't come before top guilds have cleared the content, which they already did (like all guilds tbh, it's just Naxx afterall).

Thanks for this quote I guess then, case closed indeed and store should be coming real soon.

  4. i think ulduar might come soon before the store update.

I agree completely. The original game is too much based on RNG, or better call it pure gamble, which is a vice that everyone conscious should fight against. I chose Warmane over official servers specifically cause you can avoid gambling if you are good with planing and trading, I trade gold for coins and then use coins to get items. It's understandable people call buying stuff with coins pay to win, and would get angry if all the bis items would be available right away in the store, and on the other hand, that people would have less incentive to raid and play the game at all if they could get all in the store with $, but maybe you can make it so that bis items are not available to purchase until certain objectives are made, like for example kill the boss that drops it 5 times, and that you cant purchase the item until you complete the objective. Or on the other hand make those items purchasable with some ingame currency, emblems or arena points, or you could create something new. I know this is supposed to be blizlike server, but having the store at all makes it something different, and a lot better as I stated, thats why i play here. You can improve that further by eliminating those toxic things original game had, most toxic of which is in my opinion that gamble dependent progress.

  6. Idk, at least let us buy Nax 10 items ?

  7. We've had 6 weeks of raiding already, surely it should be enough for a store release with raid items right? T7 content is so easy everyone already farmed it, it's time for unlucky ones to be able to buy items.

  8. That is not how Onyxia has been operating for 2 years. Store only updates with the previous tier after the next phase has been released and fully cleared. You want Naxxramas items? Too bad, you have to wait for Ulduar to be cleared.

  9. What people are looking for is an official policy by the server about this whole thing. What we've gotten so far is multiple conflicting pieces of information from multiple official-ish sources.

We're in wotlk now though, with loots coming at a way different pace. So looking at how they've done it previously on Onyxia is as relevant as looking at how they've done it for Frostmourne before.

  11. Pls I need to buy C'thun belt so my guild can kill Huhuran

That wasn't true for the last 2 phases of TBC as far as I remember

last phase of vanilla and tbc they released the items of naxxramas and sunwell plataeu halfway through but those are the only exceptions. As for Black Temple, if I remember this correctly wasnt released until Zul'Aman was.
