If the problem were lvl70 paladins farming, the simplest solution would be to *remove the book AND the ability to fly in northrend for all characters below lvl77*.

What they did is prevent others from flying in northrend before lvl77, while allowing those "exploiters" to continue their business.

Also, it's kinda unfair when others can fly around below lvl77 but I can't.
I've been farming gold to buy it on 4 of my alts, and now not only can't I get it, I also have to continue fighting others who can take advantage of flying at the same level while I can't.

If we're not supposed to have BoA items until 3.2.0, then you should probably change the shoulders enchants from Sons of Hodir and remove all heirlooms as well until that patch arrives.

That is a reasonable justification.

But how about handling the side-effects of it being temporarily available?
If we're not supposed to have it now, remove it from everyone's alts. That would restore balance to what feels like some benefitting from an error.

Man, I got to admit. This really bummed me out. I was looking forward to questing on my fresh level 68, but doing it again on the ground? Also I was going to buy epic flying at 70, but there's really no need to do that if you only get to use it level 77-80. Epic flying is not worth it unless you use it to farm if you only get it for 3 levels.

Yeah, it feels crapy, especially since I was able to buy one for one of my alts and now I can't buy it again...if I knew they were going to remove it, I would have purchased a few more.

it's worse than that, coldweather flying got disabled on my 71 DK and i just got 77 and have to rebuy it.
