Tia`s Grace is the best in slot, if you get a group that is willing to farm with you then go for it. The other one is fluid death, but until you have enough VP for it you can roll even with the SC or HoO trinkets. DM:H has been reported to have not such a great proc actually, if my memory serves me right, so buying that trinket would be a waste.

Tia's Grace and Unsolvable Riddle is what I know to be a very good combination. I haven't been able to get my hands on either though... Currently I'm with the alchemy trinket and the left eye.

I thought you have Fluid Death+Tia's Grace. Anyway i am working on normal Tia's and obviously will get Fluid. Forn now i am using this Engineering Dragonling trinket (dinged my rogue an hour or so ago, have to gear him from scratch now).

Nah, the fact that I made the Guide doesn't mean I'm full 372ilvl :D I've actually abandoned my Rogue and have been focusing on my Warrior until now. He's already full Vici though and warrs suck on 4.3, so I'm back on the Rogue. Or maybe my mage too. Mages are cool...

I use Darkmoon trink + either Fluid Deaths for straight fights or Riddle for fights with short burst phases.
After months of raiding, and possessing every other trinket there is I found it to be best combo for myself.
Also, for this week, I reforged and reenchanted all of my extra hit and other stats into haste, couples with an upgrade in gear (i got both chima hc gloves and malo normal cloak) - a total of around 500 haste. My dps dropped on halfus by about 1/6, and about 1/10 on Valiona/Theralion. Considering upgrades should have boosted my dps by about 5%, it is a great loss.
I will continue to raid with haste > hit next week to get more solid results. But I already noticed that MG damage percent from all damage dropped a lot with melee suddenly taking solid second spot (usually SS or Evi there)
And for a finish - in ideal conditions, properly geared and played sub will do about 80-85% of combat's of same level damage. Sadly, assa falls way behind.

So by this logic every rogue that has 20+ of mastery should not use slice and dice, should not have any haste on gear and if there is some it should be reforged into hit?
So Darkmoon trinket worth it after all. If i wont get Tia's before i will be able to get Fluid Death i will buy Hurricane. Otherwise it will be Fluid+Tia's.

the best advice i can give it to you is to get Recount and to try for yourself different items and stats optimization, see in what circumstances your dps performs best ...
if i were you i wouldn't `t spend my money on some average trinket that you`re going to change soon

I post here with hope that at least one tenth of people read what is written here before complaining.
In case you cannot read I am talking about marginal amounts of haste rating on gear. Not the flat % bonuses to haste

@Bacur, which means no - you should still keep SnD up all the time, you're Combat after all. Haste is still an important stat for you.

Im currently using tia's + tol barad mastery trink, i have like 48-49% chance of main gauche (i havent any epic hc item yet) and on last BH i did like 34k dps without potions/scrolls/food/elixir. Not bad :p

How many haste and hit rat you have? I have 46% chance main gauche but i only can 29/30k at BH

Hit 8,15% (im horde, so not 1% from drainei) haste 11,74% expertise 21/21 crit 16,84%

Discalimer: these are just observed results, not a recommendation/conclusion:
Haste is weak - I can barely get out of 50k during magmaw head when it is usually 60k+. Though, server was laggy today so that might have affected.
Will see how it goes on chima hc and atra.

So, I went testing my deeps as Combat and found out that when I did the "regular" rotation (included Rupture aside SnD and Evis), I gained like 3k more dps.
Tested just now, went up from 15k on a HC dummy to 18k.
So is Rupture viable again?

After restart server didn't lag as much and I couldn't see any difference with or without haste.
I'll rerun with hit next week.
Rupture is not viable until it does almost like 2 times the damage it does now. It should tick around 1.2-1.3k in my gear - it ticks for 600-700
