The belief in gods stemmed from the unknown. People used to believe grass grew and the wind blew because it was the work of this god or that one. There were radicalists from the beginning in all religions, Christianity for example caused the dark age of scientific repression simply because they would not believe that there was another reason other than 'god willed it' that the grass grew, so they chopped heads off. Seriously, almost every aspect of god(s) has been proven wrong bit by bit over the years. It's the empty shells of people who have to push themselves towards something like that to find happiness.
Hating on anyone from any religion or ethnicity simply because of the actions of a minority is stooping to their level in all honesty. Hate the radicalists, not the ones wasting their lives for nothing.
And I'll just put that there too. Little bit of a contradiction. o:

Maybe googling a little will help you be a little more up to date on the subject. But I bet that you are comparing the big picture of Christianity, while completely ignoring smaller and more violent groups, to ISIS making their small group the representing factor of an entire religion, correct?
And just throwing you a little piece of info here, the last time Christianity was used as a way to steer up hate was the 2nd world war, not even 100 years in the past. Any religion has been used through out the ages to shed blood, that's something that will never change. The only thing that changes is which religion becomes the new scapegoat for the worlds issues.

Didn't the spiders get nerfed? Haven't played SRS summoner since the league when they were broken and everyone rolled with titty *****es or bubble dudes, so I might be wrong on the nerf . I just recall somewhere in my mind that I was reading about it.
When we are already on the topic of the lab, I gotta say that I'm not excited to farm my artic armor enchant for my vertex when I can play again. I would never die to mobs due to Vaal pact but those damn traps are cancerous for low life/ ci chars. Vaal disc can only be used once, so if I get unlucky with some trap layouts I gotta play as slow as a snail to not die >.>

Aight since y'all IT guys and computer scientists, a friend wants to study computer stuff. Do you need prior knowledge of programing or is just math ok? Do you eventually learn the stuff you need there or are you forever gimped for not having programming knowledge?Edited: March 23, 2016

Depending on the university he wishes to go to will depend on what language you will learn but chances at it will be Java and C++ or some other OO Language.
It would help him a little if he knows the basics but he will be taught all it there. My first year I was taught Python since it's pretty simple and an easy introduction to programming.
Maths is a must, I suck so bat at math and it made it a lot more difficult.

"Wants to do computer stuff" means a lot.
Does he want to learn how to program? There are C/C++ tutorials on the web, courses, etc. What does "there" mean? Uni? Yes, at least in my case, they expected us to know a procedural programming language (C/Pascal) AT LEAST.
They had special C courses for people who never studied C or studied Pascal instead, but I never went to those as I knew it already. And these didn't give credits and were extra-curricular.
Also, maths, even though they require it in Uni, I've found it has not only never ever helped me in programming, but quite the opposite, it has distracted me and delayed my more important courses. You need to know some maths once you get into 3D modelling and stuffs, but so far, I've yet to find a purpose, as everything is readily available on the internet anyway....
But do you need uni to be a programmer ? If you want to work as one, yes. If you want to do it as a hobby, no.
Does he want to learn the essentials of a PC ? Like Hardware? Networking? System Administration? Troubleshooting? etc... Then Uni isn't the place. I've learned most through the years either for my own need or curiosity by googling stuff. The more advanced parts I've learned by actually working as a Junior IT Technician and having a really quick mind ( I had no training, yet I was to be promoted to Senior over the other Juniors who had more experience ).
Does he want to learn other things you can be considered an "IT guy" for? Like, Microsoft Office? Then he doesn't want to become an IT guy.
Does he want to learn more of the physics of a PC ? Like PCB's, robots, hardware repair, etc. Uni is the place for this, but expect a lot of filler bull**** classes.

He wants to work for Microsoft so I guess he wants to be a programmer. I don't understand IT stuff and I don't know what fields are there if there's more than one (honestly I thought there's one university of IT or something...)
