Ok its 6 am here so ill attach screenshots later, so race doesn't matter much . I have full epics but trinket and neck one. So i did 17k dps on dummy unbuffed haste 10%, hit 13%, crit 16, mastery 22.88 (with claw set) then i wanted to give a try with fastest OH and i used Slabhide dagger which is 1.4 and then did another dummy test on 4m dmg and the damage was the same. So ill attach some screens soon ;)

Quicksilver Blade. Ilvl 316-346.
If anything it shows that having fast OH even of a lower tier is better than having slow OH but of the next tier.
it has been responded to this question earlier, get tia (ask some friends to help you farm it) + http://www.wowhead.com/item=56427 from HOO and you`ll be fine ( untill you have enough VP to replace with fluid death)

K read it.
One last thing, should I save my points for the tier pants or should I use them to get fluid death? I already have tia's grace. :D
The first and most important VP upgrade is Fluid Death, no other VP option even comes close. And then the difference between rhc trinkets(except Tia's Grace) and Fluid Death is huge.
Hey I have 23.36 mastery atm with 11.5k attack, and hit/expertise capped. I gummed my gear with mastery and agility. Should i replace those gems with 40 ago or just remain well 20 agi/20 mastery?
Well, after yesterday's BoT full run I feel kinda sad to say that beyond some point in level of gears (caps, 20+ mastery) any optimization of stats will still be inside the fluctuation of minimum and maximum dps due to randomness of main gauche and crits.
But I will say this, as I observed yesterday on Halfus - hit is more valuable over haste because of, simply, extra hit is kicking in during the fights right away while haste is seemingly less random.
It is just like I said - if you are over 8% hit cap (actually around 8.4-8.5% due to some bugs) - extra hit benefits more than haste in small amounts - big amounts of haste will still be better:
If you make, for example, 400 melee attacks as base on a boss, and miss 20% of them (80) - 1% more haste would result 4 more attacks, and most likely on of them will miss. Hit will not, on the other hand, suffer from other stats - that is what I meant by hit being more reliable that haste - same provide extra attacks, but extra attacks from haste can still miss.
Add poisons in for calculations and haste as STAT ON GEAR becomes really bad until, at very least, poison hit cap.
Also from my little run yesterday: Tia's Grace + Unsolvable provide the biggest burst out of all trink combinations, to the point of increasing overall dps on almost anything but most static encounters - nearly non-existant in cata. Riddle "use" alone will win over in dps in any of those: magmaw(exposed head), omnitron (arcanatron pool), Halfus (after drakes), Chogall (last phase) and, in addition, will provide direct benefit to encounter success in case of: chimaeron (burn phase, especially on hc), ascendant council (last phase burn).
Hello,
I' actually playing on a fresh 85 rogue and i was wondering if it was normal that my Main Gauche is only my 4th top damage ability.
I reached hit cap and i'm almost done with expertise (21/26).
Yes, it's normal. This is how it actually should be if there was no bug. Mastery will slowly climb your DPS ladder as you get more and more of it, but for now your main DMG sources will be SS, Melee and Eviscerate. As it was mentioned before, you will start feeling the kick from Mastery once you get around 20.
We are not working on correcting many bugs and content currently, since we are busy porting the content we have over to the 4.3.4 core. However, when that is finished, we plan on polishing what content we have, refining it to the best possible quality before we move on to the next tier.
