I got sick and tired of equipping my skinning knife EVERY time I wanted to skin a mob. Somewhere around level 8, I permanently equipped the skinning knife until I was somewhere around level 55+ and someone asked me about it.
See, in my mind, if you are to use something such as a skinning knife, shouldn't you have it equipped? I never knew it only had to be in your bags.
First starting WoW in.. I believe '06, I first made a hunter. I ran out of arrows rather quickly, and had some money from a friendly player along with selling all of my junk. I proceeded to buy arrows.. 1 at a time.. I bought several thousand one at a time before figuring out how to buy multiples.
I always have potions of water walking on all my chars that dont have some sort of natural skill for it... because im afraid of the DEEP and SCARY seas, and i also never dive into anything that i cant see the bottom... what if a big monster shark thing shows up and eats me?
It happened on this server. It was my first time reaching lvl 80 eventhough I have played wow for a few times on other servers. So I start farming FoS and PoS, doing my RDFs and some guild raids reaching 5.2 k gs already and all the time I was conviced that lookingforgroup channel is the main channel to find a group. And than I started to wonder - how come that so populated server has so little raid offers and I asked my guild mates if the lookingforgroup channel was the channel with the biggest activity and they replied that it wasn`t and the most active channel was global (/facepalm).
I can add that I was quite shocked when I entered it because of so many raid offers and when my id reseted I got id on all major raids in about 2 days because my guild is not too active and doing only 1-2 10 man raids per week.
First character, druid. I felt it necessary to dungeon as healer, in balance spec, wearing half feral gear. Herp. Solely for the queue time. And for the first 50 levels, I did great!
When I started to play wow,I leveled up by killing only mobs till 50lvl then my friend tell me that there is quests and I can level up faster with quests! I leveled 1-50 about in half year on retail (TBC)
I'm Priest! I was level 5-6 and I saw the achievement "Can I keep him"(u need to obtain a companion) and I thought that if I make it I'll become powerful. I was asking every warlock I see how to get an Imp or Voidwalker... :o
it was on TBC priv server,i got the quest to find mankrik's wife ("lost in battle" or so, i forgot) but didnt know where she is, asked everyone i met at the barrens and gets trolled, only to find that the q was bugged
When I started playing the game in vanilla, i got killed by a rogue that I thought was an undead. I avoided the undercity til i was like lvl 35 til i did my first instance [sm armory]
the dk quest where you hide in the mine cart, board the ship, and kill all those enemies...
yea i didn't read that one completely at first and tried to take the elites on myself...
my first character ever was an elemental shaman. I was using 2h staff and it seemed to me that it is more efective to melle and heal since that way i save mana and i dont die from not being able to heal. I used melle till lvl 36 when a guy told me that i should cast
