1. Wow they actually voted to leave?
Even Scotland, who wants independance from Great Britain, voted to stay... the irony.
And David "Douchebag" Cameron resigned? Interesting times indeed.
Scotland is going to vote to stay with the UK or EU :P:P

  2. People who voted for 'leave' don't understand international business. All UK will get out of this is to lose benefits they had while having to obey all the rules they had to before, if not even more rules.

    Democracy, eh?

Ayy, and what about the youth? Most of them wanted to stay with the EU and now have to deal with all this..

  4. Keko.

Incoming collapse of the UK and/or civilian riots.

Fun fact: If the UK wants to trade with the EU, they need to follow EU regulations (what people voted to leave for). If they want to obtain trading rights/licenses/whateverthehell, they need to pay for it, which means they are still paying the EU (what people voted to leave for). If they do that, their borders have to allow people to come in to work in the UK / leave to work in the EU (what people voted to leave for), only more complicated.

To get exactly what people wanted to leave for, they would have to have their own closed economy and market. Which I doubt is possible in the 21'st century...

I literally can't see any benefits of leaving the EU.
Great job >50% of UK voters. You're doing it.

    This is really sad:

Why vote to destroy your children's future for your own pride ? You're gonna die in 10-something years anyway.

  5. Why vote to destroy your children's future for your own pride ? You're gonna die in 10-something years anyway.
Maybe that's why. "Screw these dumb younglings and their ten thousands different genders and complains about being offended by everything. I'll not leave the country I built with my blood, sweat and tears to these wastes of life," or some such.

  6. But they're gonna live for the next 40+ years. Not you.

And I really doubt they've spilled their blood, sweat and tears for the country, not their own benefit.

Yes, but would you leave a legacy to someone you felt didn't deserve it?
Does the fact you built that legacy for your ow benefit nulls the fact you might want to take it to your grave instead of leaving it for what you see as leeches?
This is such a thing that it's even been the them of movies - dying father states in his will that everything he owns wll be donated to charity, not a single dime going to his useless spawn.

  8. That's a bit of a stretch though.

You, as a person, did nothing for the country but work and be civil.
You dying will not affect the economy and well-being (or anything really) of the country.

It's the higher-up's who decide the future of the country (and they've just been screwed), not you. I'm talking about economy, industry and influence. I don't give a damn if my country is seen by uneducated people as a bunch of gypsies in tents as long as it has a say of what goes in the world (which it doesn't but you get my point).

  9. You said "Why vote to destroy your children's future for your own pride ? You're gonna die in 10-something years anyway."

I gave you a spiteful reason why. That's all.

  10. Well... yes... an uneducated reason, but a reason nonetheless . ...

  11. i have to agree, I dont understand why they let the older generation vote since this will have little to no consequence for them.

I would like to thank my fellow countrymen for ****ing up the generations to come over some ****ty patriotic pride.

Now we can hope that Trump gets into power in America so we at least have one friend and trade partner in the world.
Thatg is fuccking sad to say but its the only way our little Island won't sink into oblivion.

  12. Well... yes... an uneducated reason, but a reason nonetheless . ...
Why uneducated? I'd "destroy my children's future" if I felt they didn't deserve I left them anything.

  13. Scottish Independance Hype!!

Since we (Scotland) were nearly entirely pro-EU our First Minister has called for a vote of independence from the UK to which we will be able to stay part of the EU as our own free country.

  14. Yeah, it's pretty obvious that Scotland will get independence from the UK then just rejoin the EU. They're mad if they don't.

I can say I saw that coming, yeah...
This keeps getting more interesting. Now Scotland gets its independence, joins the EU on its own, and England is even further screwed.
