Im a 6 years wow veteran with SWP/BT/Hyjal xp, 2,2k+ 2v2 and 3v3 xp and know this game inside out. i have 3 years of guild leadership xp and ive been rejected on the sole fact that "i dont know ICC fight" (or maybe i dont have 6000 gs)
just shows how stupid your guild leadership is, i cannot even begin to comprehend the logic behind these decisions....

I also got rejected.
I accepted the fact that I did not reach their expectations/standards.
I took this rejection to a better light: there are still a lot of areas of improvement.

Any person with 3 years of experience of guild leadership and a veteran in TBC raid should know after 6 year that reading up tactics, even in basic lines, is easy to do and is a LOW standard for an application.
You should realise already that this is a High End PvE guild, one of the best Horde guilds who achieved great things in their short come back already. Do you REALLY think they realise this so fast and so clean with people who have no clue about the encounters (a.k.a. yourself apparently)? I guess not.
I hope my point is pretty clear now, and you can call the guild stupid and keep your bu tthurt stuff to yourself. I'm close to quoting myself and saying again that they did only good by rejecting you. The fact aside that you have a big mouth, your ego is even bigger.

Where to start...first of all, we're playing WOTLK not TBC. Secondly, it does look like you're quite the PvP player, and I'm sure there are many PvP guilds out there you can apply to. Third, if you had experience as guild leadership, then you wouldn't go around sulking about being declined in a guild application, or did the guild that was under your leadership for 3 years have as bad an image as you do now?
In terms of not knowing tactics, this is what you said;

Please, tell me more about how you know the game inside out. From the replies that I've seen from Officers on your app, there weren't scolding you, and they even suggested you should watch tactic videos then reanswer the question. In addition, the impression we get is that you didn't spend more than 2 minutes of your spare time on your application. In other news
Exam season has come around again, and these coming exams are my last ones before Uni. I've therefore decided to leave WoW on pause while focusing on my studies to get the grade that I want and deserve.
In my absence, Janitras and Heraxion will be leading the guild, along with Kandetta and 2 'baby' officers in the making.
I can still be contacted using forum messages as I will still be active on forums, but during this time, I am not logging on Warcraft. My last exam finishes in 4 weeks, and I very much look forwards to a whole summer of raiding when I'm back.

If I'd apply to the guild and by some chance got accepted, is it possible for me to not raid for the 1st month or so? xP Since I also have University entrance exams at the end of June and I wouldn't like to raid before then. I'd like to try being part of your community after I've found out that I've passed the exams. So is it possible to be absent for a month as a trial?
I'm quite experienced in WotLK (I have knowledge of all tactics and I have experience with all ICC bosses (and RS), both normal and heroic) and after the time spent here on Molten I've been introduced to proper raiding etiquette, so I probably wouldn't make any problems for you.
I would mostly like to join you because I really like the vibe I'm getting from Severance, it seems like a very friendly and welcoming community.

It would be best if you applied after your exams are over, as various things may have changed after a month such as our recruitment status etc. If you're good, I'm sure you'll be able to get in whenever you apply! :)
