what do you guys think of heroes of the storm? What are its positive and negative sides?
Have been playing for a while, altho badly but still (:D), but curious about other people opinions.

Plus sides; teamwork matters, cool heroes that you'd probably be familiar with (and most abilities are based on lore), less toxic by far than other moba games that I won't name, more maps/game modes than the usual moba, easier to get into.
Down sides: A bit less "skill based" (some people dislike that, or well, a lot of people), less opportunity for you to shine above your teammates and "carry".

I'd like to point out that it uses a talent system instead of a item and/or skill-up spells system like the usual moba does. I don't want to classify it as good or bad, because opinions can go either way. But it is an important difference to note.

Do I like it? Yes, I've had much more fun with it than both League and DotA2. Doesn't hold a torch to DotA (wc3 mod) though.

Negatives: it exists.

Positives: DotA exists so you won't have to play a Hearthstone moba.

Your first mistake was picking Corki.... I've seen more Varus ADC players than Corki...


I just finished my first game as jhin, got a nice triple kill, I have no idea what I'm doing but that was hella fun.

I dunno Kemii. I finished my game 8-4-2 with a Yasuo giving a spetacular throw and without a support since my support decided to pull out a pro move and support the jungler instead of the ADC. I don't mind 'cause Corki has a huge farming power and a huge solo capability (specially because of the runes I use) so I got a double kill early in the game while solo'ing.

One of this days I'll support you so I can take the rust out of my shoulders. Also counting that I still need to do placements, dropping my MMR to yours wouldn't be a bad idea actually. I assume you play EUW correct?

Natural Selection has now done its job. Extended to in-game now too.

Now let's extend that in a worldwide range please?

Doesn't hold a torch to DotA (wc3 mod) though.

Trust me I've handled worst. Varus is not that bad if well played and properly supported. I'll add you tomorrow.

Yh my stats dont look to bad considering I have about 100 games played as him. Just need to know how to adapt to the enemy team (Ability Build or Auto Attack build) and its fairly ok... brutal even with the right support (Leo/Morg/Taric).

Yeah it has to be played with an aggressive support in order to secure your late game. I would pick Lulu over Taric because of the late game itself. Lulu is a monster to turn teamfights around even being squishy.

I personally preferred Leona or Braum support. I was usually fairly aggressive with them too. I loved to get a bit of AP on Leona using that crystal scepter or whatever it's called. +Health/AP/Slow effect. Yum. But then they released Braum and... my Leona went out the window. Don't need the silly scepter with Braum's Q and passive.

the supports I personally play are Leona and Nautilus, I gotta be tanky and I love both their engages and lock down potential.
Same when I ADC, I gotta have a tanky support with some form of CC since most of my ADCs have strong skillshots (Varus, Sivir, Jhin).
Morgan is acceptable though too for her shield and roots.

I only run with Taric as me and DJ have matching skins for it. He wears his Armor of the Fifth Age and I have my Heartseeker. I prefer his taric with my Sivir, for the ult diving with mine.

Who else is waiting for legion prepatch tomorrow? Im pretty excited and its not even an official launch, i have a feeling legion will be a lot more exciting than Wod ever was for some reason, surely not as good as previous expansions but it will surely give people months of content to have fun with..

Legion should at least be decent, since they've established the trend of "filler expansions".
