Having redirection bug, I think the ss glyph is useless. My question is, what glyphs should I have ? AR+KM+RS, maybe AR+KM+SnD, or AR+RS+SnD ? Or maybe the one u said with SS ? And give me reasons please.
I was thinking something like that when i saw i do 16k dps in full pvp gear and talents in BH.
HoT is even more bugged than MG, and i think its possible that full mastery geared sub rogue can outpreform combat without much hustle.
Heya,
I wanted to ask if the current bugs like Redirect + SS and the mastery chain proc are still working on warsong or not
afaik mastery is still bugged on 4.3.4, but the redirect combo points bug is fixed. (probably by itself and not thanks to molten)
it was the redirect fixed. I doubt that redirect+ss bug was done separately for this. And I still have my suspicions about double combo points bug showing up again, but I am not spending that much time testing until 4.3 hits pve realms.
Mastery (as I see) is still bugged but for some reason I am not really able to reach that level of opness as it is now on 4.0.6. For example so far I haven't seen more that 2 mg proc at once. Though there is a serious limit on how much mastery you can obtain on warsong.
I will be testing energy regen today and harrasing tracker again with mg<>potency bug that they closed.
way to get your post count to 30! xD
is there any topic left on the forums that you don`t just open and saying well ... nothing (constructive at least) ?
i get it ... you need 30 post but dude stop trolling if you don`t have nothing to add
sinister strike glyph can still add an extra combo points to the 2 already generated by the bug, making sinister proc 3 cp's wich is obviouly pretty good , problem then is using revealing at the beginning or at the end of your 5cp building time , normally on retail, people save revealing after the 4th cp, and if by chance they get 5cps just from ss, they do not reveal and just eviscerate , but on molten further testing needs to be done.
also, for Rec, i'm still unsure if i should cap poison hit , or just stick to yellow hit
wait... for.. me? :D Were you the one who sent me a mail in game? (I'm Rec) :D
Well.. after you've capped your yellow hit, expertise, and stacked as much mastery as you can, you don't really have that much excess stats to reforge. So whether you go for some extra hit after that or some crit or haste won't do much of a difference, I'm quite sure you'll find it really hard to test it anyway.
About GoSS:
I am using that glyph and I've always used it.
I use Revealing Strike ONLY on 4 CPs. I can get to 5 CPs with 2 SSs if the glyph procs, or even after one SS if Ruthlessness procs after the previous evi and GoSS procs too. And my logic is that:
1) Using RS on 5 CPs means a waste of a CP
2) Skipping RS means more frequent Evi which means Adrenaline Rush will be ready earlier (Restless Blades talent)
And more frequent AR means more damage done :d
meh 50% increase of combo points with 20% chance is not as awesome as 100% increase with 20% chance. Half of benefit = half of AEP. With SS glyph, you have 16% chance to lose a combo point. And 20% chance to lose a revealing (potential 45% increas on evi)
If we consider 12 gcd:
Glyph(all procs): SS > SS >EVI > SS > SS > EVI > SS > SS > EVI > SS > SS > EVI
No glyph: SS > SS > REVEAL > EVI > SS > SS >REVEAL > EVI > SS > SS > REVEAL > EVI
4x EVI vs 3x1.45xEvi + 3x REVEAL. That difference is crazy -> SS glyph proc lowers dps.
And don't tell me energy is an issue in raid environment.
Actually it's 4xEVI + 2xSS vs 3x1.45xEVI + 3xRS
And that one extra EVI lowers the cd of AR by 10 more seconds than RS rotation. And AR will be ready again a lot faster that way.
And if Ruthlessness talent procs, you can even EVI with 5CPs after just one SS+RS. If you're doing SS-SS-RS-EVI without GoSS you don't even need 1 point in Ruthlessness and there's nowhere else where you can get a dps increase from.
The way I'm doing it, I start with AR+TB trinket, after exactly 60 seconds AR is ready again and I use it, and after exactly 60 more seconds the trinket and the third AR are ready at the same time, thus making full use of my trinket burst.
As people already mentioned above, we can't know for sure until Molten upgrade their other realms to 4.3.4 because of the low level gear you can get on Warsong and the lack of stats to do a proper testing.
But no, I don't think you will do as much dps as now since the Redirect+SS bug is fixed. Mastery is somewhat still partially bugged.
