Since new vote system is gonna be based on Activity rank, can anyone explain me how come an account that I play on every day has the same activity rank as one that hasn't been logged for a month ?

They actually haven't implemented an activity rank system. They probably have some specifics for that but it's not in effect yet, as you can tell by how you can't hover over the text like donation rank. We are hoping for said information to be released prior or at the time of the new point system implementation/announcement.

Question: Since the date has changed to the 5th-20th instead of the first, are we still going to be able to accrue vote points until then? I hadn't read the old post and the in-game message still just said the 1st, so i just burned all my vote points on whatever i could. Will the old system still be in effect until the 5th-20th?

Guys, today 31 August I have like 91 points on my account, and I just need 1 more day of collecting to get to 100 and buy the race change (to Tauren) , is there any chance the points could reset on 1st September at 11:59 PM or something like dat? so then I will have the time to vote 1 more time, please? :3

Was saving my points and was going to spend them today (the 31st) but my points and coins got reset this morning? I thought we would be able to spend them today?

I still have all of my points (40 of them) and waiting for my last point collection today so I can buy something, so I don't know how yours got reset.
Also, just because there are moderators doesn't actually mean they know what's going on behind the scenes of development/changing for any game, public or private. Sure they can guess, but they don't know the nitty gritty details of all the technical secrets. Maybe they aren't saying anything because they haven't been informed? Or maybe because it's so simple, all you have to do is wait and see? I mean, really. :|

Great, been busy for past 2 months, finally had time to get back to wow, see this point thing on server message, and have real points from way back when actually voting... but there's no items in the store at all.

At first I was going to ask you where you got that info from, but after re-reading the Kaer's 1st post, I realized that it's been changed to the new date you mention.
So my obvious question is: Why did the date change?
(I suppose that you're not changing store items, and it's just because a delay from your part).

Here's the reason: "The dates have changed a little due to still working on the squish and rework of the whole system."
I honestly don't know if that part was added recently or I just skipped it (since it doesn't show editions dates).
