like there is said Donations are voluntary so I think there arent many donators to these servers only because its free to play, donations are only one time so u get paid once, its not subscribing so these people, these server administrators must have work and also some of them got mouths to feed and from donations like 10000 per month for moth for maybe 5 administrators its not that much....... I think this is answer to your post ........ sorry for my bad english, Im also only human

I downloaded the client earlier this afternoon. It was MOP 5.4.8. After trying to connect, it told me I had to convert my account to a battle.net account. After lurking through the forums, I discovered that the client I had was not the right MOP one, so I had to download the one that says "(OLD)". I download it (fortunately it went way faster than the new one), tried to log in and... it worked. Kind of laggy, but I got in, made a Paladin Draenei in Frostwolf, and rise 11 levels until I got disconnected by the server.

I try to log in again a few times, didn't work. I gave up and went away for a while until later. I could log in, but my character was at level 8, and two quests I did earlier were still in progress. Fortunately it was just a few early levels, so I could recover my progress quickly enough. Still lagy.

I played for a while, left my Draenei at level 18 earlier, and went to have something for dinner. Then I came back and found out I couldn't log in again. First I got a weird error about using the wrong fields or whatever, then the "migrate your account to a battle.net account" again.

I checked the Config.wtf file and the SET realmlist points to logon.warmane.com accordingly. I don't have an enUS folder inside Data, but I have an enGB and it's full of MPQ files. No wtf files. I tried setting up my firewall, even though it worked the first time, I tried with the 5.4.8, no luck either, it gets stuck in the "Connecting" dialog. So I assume it's a server side problem. Changing realmlists and stuff won't do anything.

I hope those issues will get fixed for tomorrow, and specially the next weekend. And if someone is DDoSing, I hope he gets a life.
