When i first started playing wow, my friend created a hunter female Belf, he did this because he said that the guys in game would give free gold and stuff... I did the same thing (create a female belf and act as a girl), actualy his plan worked, the guys in my old guild believed i was a girl and treated me as a "lady" uU...
The first time I played WoW, I made 20 characters and switched between them for 7 months until TBC came out. Then I made a pally and leveled him prot with a 2h sword.
So what, I'm 29.
Is there some unwritten rule that says you can't play games in your free time just because you are a certain age?
From my experience, people who say crap like that are teenagers or young adults who think there mature. Last kid I knew who said I was immature for playing video games ended up getting busted for underage drinking and got kicked out of his living situation.
I'm living with no criminal record, I have a decent paying job that I have maintained for 7 years now, I pay my bills on time including my rent (so I have never been evicted from my home like that guy was), and I pay my taxes. I'm meeting most of my responsibility's as far as I can tell. So how am I less mature then that clown again. Oh right, I play video game in my free time.
If there is an unwritten rule that says I can't play games in my free time because of my age. Then I say that rule is meant to be broken. God forbid I may play bingo when I'm 90.
I could care less for some punk kids idea of maturity.
I think You should not feel embarrassed by the fact your 26 and playing this game at all. So long as it does not get in the way of your responsibility's I think your fine.
Haha me2. Seems old when everyone here is 16-20 (just what it seems anyway).
To add to the thread:
When I first started playing WoW a group I was in ran into an opposing faction group of the same lvl in STV. I thought that the Pally in the other group was using hax cause he would put up a bubble & was immune to everything I did.
When I first started playing, I made a character to play with a friend who had already been playing and knew a lot about the game. After a few levels (we were in a party) a skull popped up over my character's head (you know, like a raid marker). I started getting worried and kept asking what that was. He told me that it was there because someone was hunting me and that I should watch my back. -.-' I spent the next few hours paranoid and saying that I wanted to log out because I was scared and that I didn't do anything wrong. :(
WoW on Molten is full of players who do things that make anyone exclaim "WTF?"
Let's list your best moments that made you blurt out WTF!
I will begin. I joined a group for a RDF on Heroic. The tank turned out to be a braindead jackass (surprise surprise) who didn't know what aggro meant. So he wiped. I struggled to keep everyone else alive as I was the healer, but without a tank to draw aggro I was soon overwhelmed. As I neared death, the tank had managed to get himself back to the instance, had caught up with me, and somehow unleashed a WTFPWN move on all the enemies with an AoE attack. It pretty much one-hitted all the mobs there. He wasn't even buffed or at 100% health. His health was barely more than 25k at max, so something like that from him was quite astounding, as tanks usually deal as much damage as they take. All any of us could say was "WTF!?!?"
He's been trying to get his toon to do a repeat performance but so far all he's done is wiped a few more groups.
List your WTF moments here.
Your a "Clicker!" And your not alone.:D
When I played on Pre TBC I've never looked at the green bonus (spellpower etc.) when something got lot of intelect (I've been mage) i took it, when my frend told me 'what are you doing that one was better, more spell damage!' I though "wtf is he talking about?!"
and the second,
When I played first time on Night Elf I was afraid to leave the first location, even to go to the second village 'cause he told me that way I can go to humans' location. I played there until he said me the true.
What's the problem ?
When I first started playing, vanilla retail, I made a rogue as my first char and always tried to get spell power
Second:
for the first year and a half of me playing WoW, I had 7 chars and could never get any of them higher than level 14...it took me till TBC on my BE to get higher...
Well lets see........im probably old enough to be most of all you.s daddy. But do to a serious disability i have this or watch tv,you choose.I also been a gamer since the day i was conceived anyways.;)
Who even says age matters anyways?
